Worth the purchase. I’m not an avid hiker, but I knew I wanted trekking poles to hike the Coast to Coast in England. I wanted something relatively inexpensive, yet durable to handle the varying terrain of The Lake District. These poles are lightweight, easy to adjust, and have comfortable handles; great for hiking on many different types of terrain. However, on the third day of a 17-day trek, as they were strapped to my pack, one of the pole’s lower shaft locking mechanism broke. The lower shaft slipped completely out of the pole, and disappeared on the trail without me noticing. Upon my return home, I reached out to the manufacturer. They were quick to respond and then sent a replacement set of poles. I appreciate the great customer service that was offered. I'm still very satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend these poles for the intermittent hiker.

Got to use these bad boys at Rocky Mtn Natl Park. Winter Storm had just happened so deep snow everywhere. Worked Great. Love they are adjustable, sturdy and comfortable to use. Great price a well. Highly recommend.

Second purchase of poles, first pair returned. These worked great and helped maintain good form when I got tired, and increase speed without worry of slipping or fall I no as much. My pack was heavy 50+lbs so well worth it.

I have a back issue and sometimes walking is uncomfortable even with a cane. But with these I can walk further with minimal difficulty. I really like the adjustable height settings and the terrain accessories. Light weight but sturdy: Great lil product for me!!

My husband and I love these walking sticks. They are sturdy and customizable by length. They also come with a few different tips to suit your surface. We got red once that are easy to spot. Love them.

I bought these primarily for the adjustment function - I am pretty short. They are easy to adjust, I love that they came with all these terrific 'feet' (we live on a gravel road) and the hand loops are easy to adjust to just the right tightness. The info and instructions that came with the poles is well written and easy to put into action. I only got these yesterday, so not sure how well they will hold up with use, but so far I am loving my purchase!

I needed to have a set of poles in my other car for those unplanned hikes and did not want to break the bank.Pros) 1. The purple color is so very cheerful i find myself smiling every time i look at the pole.2. The fit life gives you every kind of tip attachment you would ever need or want. The tips fit well and don't fall off. 3. The price is right. The price is easy.4. The retracting and sizing feature functions correctly, and the poles appear to be durable enough to last through daily use. Care must be taken not to unscrew the pole too much when retracting it or the spring mechanism will no longer tighten until fixed. But be aware that problem is just a part of pole ownership and it happens even to expensive poles. The problem is an easy fix. (Your pole is not broken) just learn the sweet spot, then never go past that point and the mechanism will not uncoil.Cons) 1. You might think that a pole is a pole is a pole, right? Not true. There really is a working difference between a cheap pole and an expensive pole. The difference will work itself out on the wear and tear of your body, or can affect your overall endurance, and posture. It all adds up. 2. The hard rubber handles leave very little play for alternate hand positions. The angled curve at the bottom of the handle protrudes too sharply. I acquired a blister on my hand from using this pole by the second hike. My mate also experienced the same problems with his new pole. I have never had a hand blister in all my many years of hiking with poles. (Granted i have only ever hiked with my tried and true Lekis. Which are my main poles.) and it just isnt fair to compare these budget friendly poles to a Leki.In the end i took a sharp knife to my pole handle and sliced away all the excess rubber. This fixed the problem to a tolerable level for me. 3. The foam grip under the handle is too small a circumference for an adult hand to use effectively. Its just tiny and useless, it also slips up and down.4. And finally i will say something weird... these poles have no life to them. They just kinda ... clunk.. when they tap the ground. But again.... I do love my lekis.Edit: 3/2021..The snow basket attachments for these poles are very large in a good way, much better than the other baskets i bought specifically for the purpose AND they just happen to fit my main poles (lekis) perfectly.So all those pole attachments that come with the FitLife poles make this price point ideal and well worth it. Im changing my stars from 3 to a 4.
