you may need a cheater bar. But Pays for it self 1st time you use.

It works great. It does leave little tabs of pinched copper on each side. But it can be filed off quickly. I did file the edges of the die and it helped reduce the pinching. I'm not going to get to picky about the smoothness of the dies, they could be polished a little smoother, but overall its about $2200 less than a m12 forcelogic. For something I plan on using occasionally I can live with doing a little polishing and fine tuning myself.

This is a serious tool that makes quick work of placing copper pipe fittings. It works very well and and is easy to use with a little trial and error. Overall, a solid value at the price point.

I am a do-it-yourselfer. I have been working up the courage to do some plumbing tasks in my house. This crimping tool has made it so easy to create joints on copper pipes, that I am now super- confident. I have already completed a pretty complicated (for me) replacement of an indoor ball valve and outdoor garden hose sillcock using this tool, and no leaks!!

I bought this with intended to use for both copper and pex-b. I used it to cramp pex-b pipe and it works fine but it is hard to use in a tight space because it is a bit large. Not sure if this is designed to be big for copper pipe. For the price, I guess it's good for DIY.
