Fascination Coral Reef [Blu-ray]

This is a boxed 3 Blu-ray set. First one Fascination Coral Reef had some pixel and quality issues. Other 2 turned out to be decent quality. It is not the BBC or Cousteau quality but still underwater quality is quite good There are lots of new things you will see here. All are shot in Maldives, Indian Ocean. That itself will make it interesting. For the price, 3 Blu-ray DVDs are a bargain. There are some funny English translation from the original German.

I decided to check out 3D videos once again on my Vizio 3D television using my Sony 3D Blu-ray player. The Fascination Coral Reef Series adds realism to the viewing.

I got this when I got my first 3D tv and I am very happy with the dvdIt has more then enough 3D to show what your TV can do and the kids love to watch the fishThis is not something your going to watch over and over but when someone comes over and wants a quick demo of the 3DTV this is what I put in

3D version is incredible! I have a fair amount of 3D movies, this is one of my favorites... I felt like I could ride the sea turtle through my living room.

This 3D move "Fascination Coral Reef 3D" is the worse underwater movie I've ever seen. It looked as though the videographer had never used the camera before let alone photographed underwater scenes. Some scenes were over exposed and others made you wonder what exactly he was trying to capture in the frame. The colors of the coral were almost non-existent and it looked as though it was recorded on a cloudy day since the blue tint of the water and all the creatures were very bland. The soundtrack was curious as it sounded as if 2 separate tracks were on top of one another and the notes did no compliment each other at all. It was torture listening to it. There was numerous amounts of 3D 'ghosting' so much in fact it made it difficult to watch. I have a large library of 3D movies and this by far is the only one that I had a difficult time watching to the end. It was so poorly made and produced that I would think the people that made it would be embarrassed to show it to anyone. I don't recommend this movie since there are plenty of high quality movies on the oceans, it's coral reefs and the incredible creatures that call the ocean their home.

Excellent 3D depth. Beautiful coral reefs and great photography.

Dvds are fine, if watching in 3d then can be spoiled with unclear waters so too much stuff ruining the depth preception.

This is the best underwater 3D box set that I know of. It is very well narrated and the underwater 3D is stunning. Most of the creatures appeared like they were actually swimming in our lounge. Would definitely recommend this to any one wanting an "as if you are there" experience.Received the set promptly without any delivery problems.

This is a great 3d set, just what 3d was made for, cheap as chips as well. The narration voice is a little odd as it’s a german production company, it’s In English but definitely not David Attenborough. Would I watch this again, definitely.
