i enjoyed the dvd very much, interesting history in Europe.

Not quite what we expected, But good for a T.V. movie.

Pure WW2 War film entertainment. I would like to have seen less English, and more captions, as there was Polish, Russian, German spoken (or could have been spoken. It would have added more realism to what is really a western shoot-em-up in different uniforms. Familiar faces (Lang, Sizemore) lend some familiarity--otherwise look for some good ethnic visuals. Sets were outstanding, as I've seen what's left of East Prussia even today. Without knowledge of the actual Operation Valkyrie, I suspect that for the under 55s a great deal of this movie flies by not understood.There is an implication that a critical submarine was destroyed, yet we know that thousands of Nazis were sheltered by Juan Peron, the Argentine government, and also Brazil, Paraguay at least through the 1980s. However, the fourth reich did materialize (US Operation Paperclip) and it will be many years before we know the real outcome of this operation. A good diversion, but not much more.

Wow. No attention to detail. The makers of this one totally phoned this one in. At least there are boobs about 30 minutes into the film. If you know anything about military uniforms, customs and basic history, this one will make you cringe. I thing Party City provided the uniforms. For some reason, the Russian GRU is in it about 5 years before they existed. The Germans are all SUPER EVIL, killing their own and ready to rape the locals. The Americans and Russians have their stereotypical standoff before realizing they have to work together. Lots or clichés. This is not Saving Private Ryan. It's not even Shaving Ryan's Privates. Pass on this unless you are really bored and considered stupid by your friends and coworkers. An intelligent person might enjoy it if watched in the spirit of films like Mega Force.

Good movie just not what I was expecting

Original Valkyrie was good movie ,this one is stilI good but first one was little better

This entertaining movie dovetails the Tom Cruise film, "Valkyrie". So, in my opinion, in order to understand much of what is being talked about, in "Beyond Valkyrie: Dawn of the Fourth Reich", Tom Cruise's show, "Valkyrie", should be watched first - which is what I have done. Such helped, a lot, by providing much-needed context.Although a work of fiction, I liked how "Beyond Valkyrie: Dawn of the Fourth Reich" portrayed the Catholic Church as the SHAMEFUL organization it really was, during and after WWII.Probably in return, for much Nazi loot, the Church betrayed a lot of actual victims by helping approximately 9,000 Nazis flee safely, to South America.In "Beyond Valkyrie: Dawn of the Fourth Reich", a Catholic Bishop was providing Nazis with valuable intelligence, but also 'running' with those 'rats' as they fled.So, I liked this interesting and somewhat accurate movie!
