It starts with very easy puzzles to give the child confidence and then they race away with it! Can not recommend it highly enough for a child who loves number puzzles. Review: I got this book for my puzzle loving 8 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. We homeschool and I have a stack of crossword, word find, maze, and sudoku books on our school table for the kids to use as brain warm-ups in the morning and at least 3 days a week she chooses this book over all of the others and that is saying a lot because she has loved crosswords and mazes for a long time. I think that this is a great introduction to this type of puzzle. If your kids like puzzles and are new to sudoku, this book is really fun.
