This is a solid sight glass, less likely to break than the one that came with my steam furnaces.

This boiler tube functioned exactly as one would want a boiler tube to function. No leaks. Adds a touch of style to my basement decor. And although I can’t prove any connection, my strawberries grew bigger and sweeter this year. Could be coincidence- but maybe not…
