Does this work on pleather?

Pleather doesn't need conditioner. Just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. This will not be absorbed by pleather the way it is by leather. You'll have a greasy mess.

Will the 6 oz size cover a large leather sofa?

Leather Salve 6 oz should be able to cover a large leather sofa (a small amount goes a long way). Usually one 6 oz bottle covers about 100 sq ft.

Does it matter what color the leather is?
