67700002 Black Quartz Contract Clock, 13-3/4-Inch, Black

I bought this clock to replace an earlier purchase (Universal 11381) that only lasted 5 months. That clock's hands started slipping freely on their spindles making it useless. This clock had a few good reviews and is made in the US. It seems better built. So far so good. It's dead accurate. There are dozens of clocks on Amazon in this category and price range - most have poor reviews because they are so cheaply made. They basically all use the same quartz movement but its the rest of the clock that determines if its pure junk or will last. I use it outdoors but its under an eve and in the shade. Hoping it lasts a couple of years or more.
