Update: the seller reached out to me and gave me a refund. Awesome feedback and respectable seller.It fits but it doesn’t stick. I took off the protective lining of the back part and it feels sticky but it doesn’t stick. I close it and it just falls off.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED! everybody who knows me, knows i take pride in my vehicle, its cleanliness & organization. i’ve always had the spot for my loose change but never for my bills.. until now! Honda shouldve thought of this back in 2017! 😂

It’s a handy place to put items.

Cheap easily breakable plastic that will not last long. Also it doesn’t fit into the space it’s designed for so the tape doesn’t make full contact, it just falls right off. Every time I get in my car and open the compartment it has fallen down. I could use a more permanent adhesive but I know the hinge will break eventually and don’t want a broken piece of plastic permanently affixed to the arm rest. It’s garbage

Fits great. Only two issues is that it’s cheap plastic so it could break easily and the adhesive is not strong so even if you’re careful with it it tends to fall off

Exactly what i was looking for

Found out about this additional compartment that could be added to my 2019 Honda Insight. It's a nifty little spot that you know about and can be used to store various thin items such as cash, credit cards, and things of that nature. As others have mentioned, the adhesion of the provided tape on the compartment is quite awful and doesn't stick at all so you will have to buy some 3M double-sided tape so that it sticks better. The tape provided is only on the outside and within a month or so, the compartment is starting to fall off so might as well rip the provided tape off and replace it. Overall though, it's nice to have a compartment for sensitive items.

update: still love this thing but after twoish years, the latch has started to become loose and opens if I close the console lid too hard. other than that, no issues whatsoever and I’ll definitely replace it when it gets worse if I can figure out how to remove the first one.simple but kinda genius. I’ve had this about a month now. it fits perfectly in the console lid of my 2021 civic. it’s not “secret” per se - I’m sure someone would notice it if they were looking. I’ve not had any issues with it falling down even in the Florida heat but if it does, no big deal, it can easily be readhered. it fits small items perfectly and is a great utilization of space.
