Factor 55 Rope Guard (Ultrahook XTV)

Great looking, high quality product.

Super easy install. Looks great and protects the front loop of my rope from the sun. You have to buy this if you’re running a synthetic rope.

It was relatively simple to install on my F-250 with the Warn winch. I used a vise for the rivets instead of a punch. That worked pretty well but you need a rather large vise if that is the route you want to go. I don’t understand why Factor 55 Flatlink isn’t built using the Rope Guard.

I had to cut off warn zeon 10s metal thimble off of my winch to fit the flat link.I also had to order the factor 55 cable bushing for the flat link to maintain the proper D/d ration on the rope. The price of the flat link should include all of these things

The picture for this item is misleading. It looks like you are ordering the hook but actually it is the silver square rope guard for the red hook. Not the hook itself.
