This is a fantastic handy fold down desk. Ideal for a laptop (or something else if a similar weight).All you’ll see is the table top wall mounted, all the brackets and hinges are neatly behind. Simply one action to pull up, and it click into place horizontally for use. Easily release the bracket (small lever underneath) to lower it back onto a stow away position.Great space saving product, not overly engineered, easy to put up.Same with everything like this, use your own screws and wall plugs, and fit as many as you feel comfortable with (don’t just rely on the ones they give you in a packet). Make it good!A product I would definitely consider buying again.

so while I'm pleased with the desk I got, it is not the one pictured in the ad and in reviews. it looks the same at a glance but the bracket/spring mechanism is different and I had to suss out how to install it myself because the instructions provided are for the one pictured. this also means that the screws supplied with it are for the other mechanism and for mine I needed more of them- only 8 were supplied and I needed 12. one of them actually broke in the wall which is a huge pain but luckily it seems to hold weight fine anyway, missing that one. the desk I have is black and the bracket is also black, whereas the black desk pictured has a white bracket. my suspicion is that I have recieved an updated version, as there are more screw holes and therefore more support (in my photo you can see that there are extra holes and not enough screws, but I may eventually add my own of I feel it needs it). once installed, it is very sturdy and I trust that it will continue to hold my laptop and cope with me leaning on it. I have it on a solid masonry wall so I can't vouch for its strength when installed on drywall/plasterboard walls and I think it's pretty silly to blame the product for it falling out and ripping the wall apart with it, as per other reviews lol. I might have tried it as it's not that heavy, but definitely with proper hollow wall fittings and not the ones provided.

Great price and size for a dining table for one - folding down is a bit tricky for my elderly mum as both sides have to be done at the same time but she has got to grips with it

instructions not very good but once sussed out it was easy to assemble.nice and sturdy shelf.

The springs underneath are very strong, you could easily trap your fingers
