These journals are incredible! I bought this one for a gift for my young son and I'll wind up buying one for each member of my household. They are sturdy, well-made, charming...you name it. If you want a journal cover that you'll have your entire life, this is the one you need to buy.

I have many Oberon products, so I ordered with confidence, knowing the journal would be of the best quality. The leather is thick yet supple, and the art work is wonderful. The dark blue navy color is perfect for the ocean wave depicted. I do wish the pages within were lined but I will replace it with lined when the time comes. Thanks again, Oberon, for a gorgeous journal. It will last a lifetime and be handed down.

This is the second book I have ordered from this company. I purchased the forest scene and now the ocean waves book. The craftsmanship and the attention to detail is incredible. These books are absolutely gorgeous and would make an incredible gift for any artist! They are a little pricey but absolutely worth it!!

This is a great fit for moleskine 17 month planner plus A10 apica notebook. The two pair perfectly.. I chose the great wave and it is a deep blue and just gorgeous. This is a sturdy high quality leather. I expect it to last for many years to come. You can't go wrong here.

Perfect journal cover, good journal.Leather cover is supple, soft to the touch, design is textured so you can actually feel all the bumps in the mist of the wave and such. Best part is that it's refillable.Journal is fine. Unlined and 208 pages. Problem I have with it is that the pages are designed so that the line insert they include in the journal can be used as a template so you can write straight on the pages. Since they are so thin compared to cardstock, the ink from my dip pen and some of my fountain pens can be seen through. It's not bleeding through, there is a difference. But in corners of letters, like the letters "d" and "p" the ink is visible on the other side. If my ink actually did bleed through, I'd have taken a star off.Overall: Worth it. Premium feel.-JJ
