- About this item CLEANER ADDITIVE is a non-ionic surfactant. Can be added to our patio cleaner, black spot remover or softwash solution products. CLEANER ADDITIVE IS A CONCENTRATE ADDITIVE which prevents premature drying of our patio cleaning products and black spot removal products such as Patio Cleaner Plus. THIS PRODUCT THICKENS PATIO CLEANER PLUS to prevent premature drying. Also allows our patio cleaner and black spot removal products to cling to vertical surfaces to clean walls, lintels and roofs. USEFUL DUE TO ITS FOAMING ACTION to identify where your primary cleaning product has been applied to once the surface has been pre-wet with water. Use 50ml to 200ml per 5 litres of Patio Cleaner Plus or other. This product is also known by its chemical THIS PRODUCT IS ALSO KNOWN AS LAURYL DIMETHYLAMINE OXIDE OR AMINE OXIDE. It is well known and used by the exterior cleaning industry to thicken hypochlorites and acid based products to thicken them. It also creates a foaming effect.
