This two-disc album is an excellent introduction to Norway's greatest composer. Not only are all the works you'd expect included, they are superbly performed by top-notch artists and will easily stand comparison with the many other examples available.If you already have some or all of the works, in other performances, this album is still worth acquiring. And if you don't, you couldn't do better than this as either the starting point of a collection or even as a mini-collection in its own right.
