It started a little slow
Then it got interesting really quick. He has a knack for developing his characters so that they're more interesting than just the story itself. As the characters went from black and white to 4K color, I could not put the book down. By the time I got to the ending, I could hardly wait to get to the ending. I hope I hope he continues to bring out more in this series and I can't wait to read the next book.

Immersive and Addictive
Archer’s Tread not only bends time and space, but bends genres as well. Thriller, romance, mystery, speculative fiction cross and intertwine like the threads seen by protagonist Simon Lyons. Lyons is suffering from a unique skill set caused by an unfortunate accident and some questionable “health care.” As Lyons story unfolds, the reader is pulled into his world of torment and desperation to find a “cure.”In (Noel) Zamot’s debut novel you will find strong female characters who are beyond intelligent; comrades in arms beyond loyal and enemies beyond reach. The “cloak and dagger” elements are immersive and addictive; however, readers with an aversion to gory violence will find some graphic content difficult to digest. The biggest disappointment upon finishing was not having the second book in the Trilogy immediately available to read. I hope the rumors about “movie rights” are true.

so so spy novel
This tries hard to be a spy novel, but ends up being a romance novel. The spy stuff was a little vague, the math part was not really explained, all the spy women are drop dead gorgeous with huge chests, all the math women mess with their hair all-the-time and everyone consistently either sneers, smirks, snarls or cries. There were a few typos, like 2 slightly different versions of the same sentence back to back. I really liked the premise but some scenes were just dumb. And unbelievable. And I figured out the twists at the end. So… up to you.

Fast-paced, couldn’t put it down!
What a page turner! I lost many hours of sleep thinking, “I’ll just read a few more pages...” It is action-packed, with a touch of humor, a bit of romance, and an overall great cast of characters. It would be fun to read an “origin story” of any of them. I have more to say, but I don’t want to give any part of this book away so I am keeping it short. Can’t wait for the next one! Ps. Attention Hollywood, this would be an awesome movie!

Wow! Intriguing, entertaining, compelling! Brain food that gave my heart a workout too
A mind-blowing premise so artfully described that you can envision the movie already. Can't wait to see what lucky studio picks this one up. Captivating concepts, strong characters, thrilling suspense, stomach-churning action described by sounds you don't want to even imagine hearing, and a bit of romance. What a fun escape! I couldn't make myself stop reading. Loved the characterizations especially the strong and intelligent women - and there are plenty of them! Even learned a little Spanish. ;-) Many of the action scenes were absolutely sickening but life was respected. Not your typical kill-tons-of-people-and-desensitize-a-whole-generation story. Much more multi-dimensional than secret government ops gone bad genre. Gut wrenching highs and lows - you feel the desperation of veterans contemplating suicide and the comfort of the brotherhood of arms. This book is extremely clever in many ways. You can nerd out in the high tech parts, cheer on an a**-whoopin', and have your heart melted between amusing banter and chivalrous understated acts. Delightful. Looking forward to more books in this series.
