When i got this i thought that i made a mistake as the box is tiny compared to the actual steps.Then when i opened it up i realise its vaccum packed. Don't worry when you first cut the plastic to open it as there are many layers of plastic and you will notice when you get nearer to the actual steps. But be careful when the steps start expanding and unfolding that you don't get hit although the steps are made of foam they are very study. Once expanded the steps are a great height and the colour matched the picture perfectly.The stairs have a good strong zip the is easy to use to take the cover of if needed.

This arrived extremely well & professionally packaged & vacuum packed in a strong box too.Once fully opened the steps took just 20 hours to achieve full plump size.They do not shift easily on the floor either.Cover is easily unzipped and machine washable, as well as waterproof.Height once fully plumped up is perfect.Soft gentle slope/angle.I was concerned that my mature dog (who I have been having to physically lift up onto the bed as I have a very deep mattress as well as a 10cm mattress topper) might need a few weeks of training to use.I was so wrong!I placed the steps next to the bed, beckoned to her to stand on it & she instantly & without any hesitation used the steps to get up onto the bed!I was astounded!She has happily used the steps ever since!No coaxing, no bribery with treats.The fact that they are strong, dense foam and that she obviously feels safe using them have been a wonderful and effortless experience that also is a massive help to me as I no longer have to pick her up in order to get her onto the bed.I intend to buy another for the lounge so she can easily get on & off the sofa.I just wish I had invested in these steps sooner.If you are in two minds, don’t hesitate, just buy it.Fabulous gift for older dogs or cats or after they may have had surgery or ann injury etc.These steps give my dog complete independence & save my back too!

Even though it says somewhere on the listing. Don't panic about the squashed thing that arrives. It does inflate and look exactly like the pictures.Definitely sturdy enough for a small dog. Work's well for a relatively hight sofa. Wouldn't be strong enough for a big dog, but not sure a big dog needs a smallish ramp.Very light and easy to lob in a cupboard if you don't want it around. Decent solution for the price

My 3 step arrangement didn’t need to inflate. It seems very good quality, was easy to unpack and arrange and my senior dog was immediately comfortable using it - it isn’t too steep and just the right height to reach my quite tall bed. It arrived the day after I ordered it and I am delighted with it.

Bought for a 3 month old Golden Retriever puppy to allow him to get on/off the sofa on his own. He was initially unsure of them and had to be shown how to use them, but soon took to them and uses them many times a day now without any hesitation. Build quality is excellent - 2 months down the line they have held their shape and don't collapse on him when used (despite his growth and weight gain), no issues with them.

Arrived well packaged in a very robust cardboard box. In fact the cardboard box is so nice and firm, might try using it as a doggy step to help our dog up onto the sofa.As for the actual item, you have to allow it to expand when you unwrap it. It sprang to its full size almost immediately but seemed a bit soft....You're supposed to leave it for a day or so to allow it to get firm., which I then did. Next day it wasn't any firmer but I tried it anyway. Our small terrier hates it presumably because when she steps on it, it "gives" underfoot. She won't use it. The foam is too soft. It's too squidgy. So now I am left with this large ugly black object because it would be too much hassle to send back in what would be a BIG parcel. Even worse, because it's black you tend to trip over it in the dark. You might be lucky, I accept that all dogs are different.

Seems to be good quality material. Seems to be a good size for our Miniature Dachshund. He is quite small but long and agile.
