Made from Earth Exfoliating Glycolic Wash

Made from EarthI have sensitive skin, and its combination from very dry to oily. I have used many high end face (= expensive) products for my face trying to find the perfect ones. I decided in Jan 19, to become an ‘aware consumer’ and start knowing about the chemicals I use and the companies I buy from. First this company, ‘Made From Earth’, uses USA sourcing and makes products here; , it uses 80% wind and 15% solar for its manufacturing (according to company info) so that was all great, A+ for what I wanted. Also it practices fair trade, sustainable harvesting, cruelty free and none of the long list of dangerous chemicals, A+ again. Thats a great start! But does it work? I decided to try several of their products: Grapefruit Glycolic Wash, the Green Tea Toxins Cleanser, and the Rooibis Tea Detox Face Scrub. To my surprise each of these products I rate as 5 stars! The Grapefruit Glycolic is one I keep in the shower. It cleans the makeup off my face using either a washcloth (clean white one of course) or my sonic Leaf silicone face tool. After washing my face, it feels very clean, but not dry/not oily, just very soft to touch. The glycolic acid is a game changer and I have used many products with it, if I skip it even a day, I notice my skin is dull. This wash is a great way to get the radiance from having glycolic acid, and still gentle. Its a sudsing wash and feels good to use. My face had no reaction and no redness. I have used it daily for months and highly recommend it. (I also use their Green Tea wash daily, I like the ingredient list, its not a sudsing wash, more like a lotion wash and I use it when I have a days worth of makeup on and need to massage it in to loosen the makeup.) By the way, if u aren’t using clean white (bleached) washcloths, or a silicone sonic Leaf type device, and clean (bleached) towels to pat dry, then you’re wasting your time. No great clean can result without attention to details. For me, washcloths are cheap, so is bleach, and I got 24 to always have 3 a day. This all works together to keep the skin clear. And I used to have adult acne, or chin acne, or redness always going on. Now with being careful, that doesnt happen. (I also no longer spray cologne on my neck; I discovered it was causing my chin area breakouts! So my perfume sprays go on the back of my neck and on my wrists.) This Grapefruit Glycolic Wash lasts longer than I expected, and I plan to buy it again. I didn’t get any discount or anything for my review. I only did this because I hope it is useful to someone searching for a gentle, safe and effective face cleanser!! I hope this review is helpful. :-)

I've been looking for a replacement for St. Ives Renew and Firm scrub for a while (I bought a bunch in bulk when they stopped making it), so I've tried several with Jojoba beads, including Murad and Neutrogena Hydro Boost. So far, this one bests them by far. The beads are a bit larger, and there's more lather. It's not a very strong scrub though, so I'm considering going with something with a stronger scrub and then a cheaper AHA wash separately. But I'd still recommend this one for anyone who only needs a lighter scrub.

This wash is great. Leaves my skin feeling refreshed and freshly scrubbed in a gentle manner. I use it everyday and will definitely purchase this product in the future. I have very sensitive skin and this has caused no irritation. I highly recommend this product.
