Initial review: 22 APR 17: I have just started commuter biking the few miles to work and needed to get the essential gear to do so safely but didn't want to pay a crazy amount for lights. I was initially hesitant about the quality of a light set this inexpensive, but the reviews were good so I bought them anyways; I have not been disappointed. These lights has been great so far. The head light is very bright, even in low mode, and the light is very directional so little is wasted. I can easily see 75+ ft down a dark, unlit road. My commute takes me about 15 min each morning in the dark and I only charge the lights once a week. The tail light is also very bright, and I usually just use it on low. It took me a few days to figure out how to put the tail light in flashing mode. According to the manual, it is supposed to only have 3 different flashing modes that can be choose from, but initially mine had 3 constant light levels to select from. After playing with it for a little while I figured out that by pressing the button twice rapidly I can switch between flashing mode and constant on mode. This works great for me. Over-all I highly recommend as a budget friendly, well made, well performing bike light set.

I like biking at night so i came across these while shopping and bought them. The price was good. I've ride for 4 hrs and still had a charge. Everything about them i like but the headlight mount. It's plastic and looks a little weak. I'm afraid that if i fall it will bust. Besides that i recommend this product especially if your on a budget. 5 ⭐ in my book. Thanks Samlite.

Needs something to keep it from slipping around on the bar. I used some mastic. Easy to take off mounts and charge. Needs a two headed cord. The tail light is really dright

This is a great headlight. It is truly a headlight. Very bright. The rear tail light is bright also. Both rechargeable. I brought a second for my son.My only hang up would be that I should be able to turn off the auto-dimming feature. Most people can see well on the street during the day or in the dark of night but at dusk, the light of day is much lower and your eye's ability to differentiate objects is diminished (fog like), especially in older people. There is less contrast. This headlight will tend to set at a lower level due to the ambient dusk light. So I've added a multi directional light to the front fork head (vertical part) for that reason.

The lights themselves were bright and my son was really excited to use on his bike. As we were attaching the headlight to the bracket, the bracket broke into several pieces. As we were inspecting the taillight, we noticed the colored plastic separated from the metal and exposed the internal circuitry. I didn't expect a high-end unit, but I did expect it to last more than 1 hour. Never even had the chance to put it on his bike. Disappointed kiddo.

These lights are just absolutely awesome for the price. They were smaller than I thought but still very bright even inside during the day time they are really bright. The headlight fit the large inner part of my 31.8mm handlebars just barely. The automatic light sensor works very well, when I go under street lights it dims down and matches the light around me to not waste power.The headlight is nearly as bright if not brighter than a set of car headlights, I attached a pic of it and the beam layout is very nice and flat and it lights up almost my whole front yard at night.A++

It came in a very a well conditioned package and the light itself feels very solid but not too heavy.I took it for a ride the as soon as I got them and they were very easy to install on my bike. They are really bright and now I'm easy to spot. They are very clear and its easy to understand their directions. When you turn the lamp on, you can change the varying modes depending on how dark it is, it's great for early mornings and late night cycling to and from work. Great product, really easy to use!

Wonderful bike light and would definitely have kept this light but the piece that snaps onto the bike and off of it to charge the light was weak and had broken off.
