I was weary of these knives after a couple of reviews said they developed rust easily. I almost didn’t buy them, but they were exactly what I wanted and the price was right so I decided to see for myself how they’d hold up over time. Boy, am I glad I did! I’m writing this review months after purchase so I can report on their durability. First off, those reviews warning about their sharpness? No lie, I accidentally sliced my pinky while hanging the knives on my magnetic strip. So just be exceedingly careful at first until you get a feel for them. I also make sure to remove any distractions and stay focused solely on what I’m doing whenever I do knifework with these for that reason. I wanted a high quality set of knives because I’m really into cooking at home. I cook all my meals everyday so I needed a set that would be up to the challenge, these are. They have a good weight to them (feel sturdy in your hand) and as previously stated, they’re super sharp and make quick work of any chopping project. Veggies? No prob. Meat? No prob. Hard cheese? No problem. I love these knives. They work great and I’m happy to report that I haven’t seen any rust on my knives. I hand wash and dry mine with a microfiber towel and then I hang them back up on their magnetic knife strip, so maybe that is the key to caring for them. They look brand new still, exactly like the day I got them months later. I am so happy with these. 10/10 would recommend them for enthusiastic home cooks like myself.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this knife set due to its low price and the fact they're made in china. I didn't know what to expect when they arrived, but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Out of the box these knives are extremely sharp and they stay that way through use. I've been using these now for about a month and have not found the need to touch up the blades on any of them. The handles are also very comfortable in use, they are balanced well and overall just work great in my kitchen.I definitely recommend them.

I love this knife set. They fit nice in my hand and have great balance. The also look beautiful displayed on my knife board.

I was happy to receive these knives. but was very disappoint on how they should up. The box holding the knives was ripped and the knives were falling out of the box. But they do seem to be very sharp, good for chef cooking.

Bought as a gift for my wife. The packaging is actually pretty stellar if you're looking to gift this. I'd take a pic of it if I knew where it was. I haven't used them yet but she says they are SHARP! They look amazing and they feel great and yes I've held them but I haven't used them. I'll try to remember to update once I've used them.2 side notes:1. I also purchased the magnetic bar which is also awesome, on Amazon and I'll write a separate review.2. The steak knives to the right did not come with this set. They are actually Wolfgang Puck knives that she purchased separately and already need to be sharpened after only a handful of uses. I actually have used those and they were only sharp the first time or 2. Our Farberware knives we bought from Walmart years ago are still sharper lol.

Great looking knives and were razor sharp out of the box. These get used every day and are hand washed after use as the handles will eventually crack running them through the dishwasher. Hand wash only!! Good fit in your hands and have nice balance. Haven’t had to sharpen them yet. They were on sale and am very pleased with them so far.

I loved this knife set, but two of my knives got chips in them only after having them for less then two weeks. They are very sharp and work great.
