OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS Read Write Inc. Phonics: Get Writing! Orange Book

Description

The Get Writing! Books contain a wide range of writing activities which are closely linked to the Storybooks and selected Non-fiction books. Children's writing is supported at every step from writing simple sentences to extended texts, including invitations, letters, descriptive texts and non-fiction texts. Longer composition activities are based on a new six-step process with lots of oral rehearsal and role play so children are full of ideas before they write. Check boxes throughout the books prompt children to proofread and review their writing, helping them to make sustained progress. The books are part of the Read Write Inc. Phonics programme, developed by Ruth Miskin. The programme is designed to create fluent readers, confident speakers and willing writers. It includes Handbooks, Sounds Cards, Word Cards, Storybooks, Non-fiction, Writing books and an Online resource. Read Write Inc. is fully supported by comprehensive professional development from Ruth Miskin Training to ensure its easy implementation. Review: It’s 10 of the same book!!!! - Don’t get confused like I did it’s 10 copy’s of the same book. Not 1 writing book for each story. So frustrating that they don’t sell them individually. Only any good if your buying for a class.
