Finally got my hands on it
The book was well packaged and came in very good condition. But it is a massive book, so you have be extra careful or you risk damaging the spine of the book. Paper quality and printing is good considering the price and how much they had to pack in

Simply Breathtaking.
An astounding novel, one that beautifully explicates the contrast of good and bad, life and death, reward and punishment, pride and redemption. It is a story which strikes you so hard that you are left gasping for air. Every page is amazingly crafted, every situation is elaborately described, every feeling is properly felt. The book builds up its ultimate climax in an intricate fashion, a fashion that I admire to its roots. The nostalgia that blooms in the mind of the reader after reading the book is uniquely intense . There is no question of my recommendation of this book. Everyone should read it. Period. The sheer passion that was woven into the words of this work of art will be embellished by my soul for eternity. This version, translated by Robin Buss, is recommended by many who have read many versions. I would also personally recommend this version as I feel (as said above) that the zeal and the passion of Alexandre Dumas has been enraptured in this English Translation. The quality of the book was excellent, the service of Amazon was so, even more.

Amazing book.
The thing is this book is over 1200 pages long and paperback version does come under serious stress of splitting in two. So, if you would like to keep this book for long time then go for hardback otherwise for one time read and simple references later on paperback version is just ok. Book in itself is very good and don't know why people go for abridged version while this is so much fun.

Ever time classics by Dumas. 1200 golden pages.
This undoubtedly falls in the category of the best books ever written. And this paperback edition is the best affordable one.The best copy of Unabridged version translated from the French by Robin Buss. Thrilling and enjoyable from start to stop.Alexandre Dumas’ 1200 page revenge epic wastes little time in not thrusting the plot along, quite violently so at times, and includes within a brief, sketchy history of the return of Napoleon and his subsequent second defeat.I just don't get enough of this book and keep reading from random pages as it just keeps you motivated. Dumas in this story shows you a totally different style of revenge. No doubt The Journey with Edmond Dantes in this book is one of the best you will ever experience.

The count of Monte Cristo is certainly one of my best novels. The Robin buss translated version is a perfect justification to Dumas writing miracles. In love with the characters and the description provided for each plot. A classic love, escape, revenge story of Edmont Dantes a young sailor wrongfully captured, fabricated for treason and his revenge over the sinners.

Penguin Classic for The Count of Monte Cristo is best.
Complete and unabridged, Robin Buss was faithful to the style of Dumas' Original. I think the penguin classic is the best for Monte Cristo. Go for it oh my friend and be the smartest. Good luck! Informally, I think that the book is scented and smells real nice. Must read.
