I was pleasantly surprised when I installed this weather stripping around my deck door that it was so easy! Many of my little DIY projects have a way of becoming BIG DIY projects, but this one was even easier than I expected. The stripping seems durable and fits the door frame perfectly.

Perfect fit! So I decided one day that I was going to replace all my doors weather stripping. And didn’t know there were different sizing and materials. So I bought 2 other types before finally deciding to try to match what I pulled off. I bought 2 different foam sizes that didn’t fill the gaps. As you can see in pictures with light around the door that was 2 sizes of foam together and it still didn’t fill the gap. My old weather stripping was scratched up by my dog. So one day I just ripped all the doors stripping out. Some wouldn’t close and some weren’t big enough. I was worried when I finally bought this because I doing know the size I ripped out. But I remember it looked like this!Well this one fits perfectly. There is no adhesive like the foam but that’s ok because it’s slides into the “kerf” which I had to Google that word. And not all my doors have a kerf. But my back door was killing my with the sun coming through and the heat and everything else that comes with a gap.The durability on this stuff is great! Nice and firm. Worked well with my kerf just pushed it on it and slid my hand down to make sure it went in. And I tell you it’s night and day the difference. I don’t hear the dogs barking or kids playing. The air is cool in my kitchen. No bugs coming through. And it’s easy to remove and replace. Easy to cut with simple scissors. I think I used my kids school scissors.The shipping was next day. And I’m happy! Just buy this. It should fit if you pulled out one like it. My door closes fitted doesn’t slam. The dogs can’t just push it open when it’s unlocked. I feel like I got a new back door!

Seems like high-quality product and very easy to install, although I think I installed a size a little too large, the listing could do a little better at assisting with the sizing, I can’t even find where I can purchase a small size? I purchased a large and I need a medium. I would assume they would be all next to each other in the listing comparatively, but I don’t see anything.

Works perfect! Was afraid that it would wiggle out of the recess in the door jamb, but it stays in great, even with effort to remove it.No visible daylight anymore, and no more airflow through the gaps. Looks to be very durable and size was perfect.

It just took less than 5 mins to install for my door. Great product and a perfect fit.

Fit perfectly

The door kerf (the gap in the door frame where the old insulation slid into) is significantly wider than the old. This insulation strip would fall out. Decided to return it an look for something which will fit from the local hardware store

someone stole this out of my garage so I can't give you a recommendation. Appeared exactly what I needed but GOD will get them!
