I watch this several times a year. It’s basically a book on tape but you can watch it if you want. Very well done, who’s every Bible chapter was done in this way!

We are living in perilous times. I encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior 🙏 this is a great buy because you can follow along with bible in hand as it shows the verses. This is NIV. I personally prefer kjv. This is great because its visual. Its 2 discs. 2020 Jesus is shaking the earth. Waking up the sleeping bride. I can hardly watch television. Please watch youtube David Wilkerson on television. I've personally cut out so much T.V. we have become desensitized. There is also a great series the gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and you can choose bible version. I love that its word for word and it shows people of their true ethnicity at that time. The actor playing Jesus is selva raslaingam. I own all 4. Its gives you NiV options. Each Dvd shows each different perspective it is narrated. The Acts of the Apostles is not narrated . Keep in mind if you checl out Matthew Mark Luke John each dvd has slight differences but same scenes. To me I appreciate it because it demonstrates the different perspectives and you cam pause and get you version bible and stidy. Jesus is coming. We have to turn off the TV and radio and limit it. Jesus is so real and I pray your blessed by this review. Pleaxe know Jesus wishes that no one should perish. Get your house and order. I hope to find more word for word dvds. Also download the Bible app and play the audio. Let us all draw closer to the king of king lord of lords. Pray for discernment and eyes to see and ears to hear. I had bought samson and deliah and I busted out the bible so fast to read it. I'm like Delilah did not help samson. Theatrics! But its better than these shows and cartoons thst are hypnosis and demons. Hollyweird has gotten worse and will.continue. We are on nsmoseconds. Our savior is coming soon.

I am a Christian. Acts is that bridge between the gospels and the epistles (letters) and it has always been a tough book for me to "get into." This movie helped in several ways! First, it follows the scriptures in a literal way, showing the actual scripture references below in real time as the movie progresses. The dialogue spoken by the actors is scripture. Secondly, it is a movie, with a plot, and it drops us right into an action scene where Luke (not Skywalker) is on a storm-tossed ship, and must mend a wounded passenger because of the storms fury. We see an man not shaken by the tumult, full of kindness and eloquence zealously speak of the advancement of the faith. Luke of course is the author of Luke and Acts. We see someone writing down his "tale" as he speaks it at times. It is much like sitting at a bonfire and having a really good storyteller tell you the story, only you get to see the action too. It is a long movie, and those with short attention spans might lose interest (which is tragic, such a moving story of real events)! If you want a prelude to reading the book of Acts for yourself, look no further!

I like the fact that the dialogue is right from scripture. The drama is well done.

You see and feel what it was like for the recieving of the Holy Spirit from God Himself.believe and be Baptized in the Holy Spirit and water and you will be Saved from what will come upon this World very soon

I loved the acting and all the props used to tell Luke's writing of the Acts of the Apostles. It's a long movie, but would be an asset to anyone wanting to understand when the church was born, and how to be saved.

Very good really but with American accents rather than a more English ones, the latter which were the case in The Gospel of St John which was incredible and even more so in its 3 hour theatrical version. The Acts dvd was also lengthy and I will watch it again so one for my library.

Really good production, very true to the New Testament texts.

Love that the DVD is word for word from the book of Acts. Also the characters speak the words where ever possible instead of only being narrated.
