La tela es muy cómoda pero se transparenta

I bought this as a gift for my god son for Halloween. I bought 2T (which should be 24 months). He's 15 months, but a bit big. I decided to go larger, because I figured after Halloween he could still play in it. But his mom called to tell me the pants are really long (expected), but the top is apparently so narrow at the neck that his head barely gets through the opening, and the opening restricts his neck. I get he's a big 15 mos, but he's nowhere close to 24 mos--as evidenced by the pants being too big. He's not a disproportionate child. It's not like we've never bought clothes for him. I bought him little onsies for his first b-day, from Amazon, and they both fit great (also size 24 mos) and he's still growing into them--so it's not like his head/neck are oddly huge. Can't really explain how the top is choking him and the pants dragging, but that renders the outfit useless, except, I guess he gets a pair of pants? Oh well. Not expensive enough to worry about sending back. But be warned.
