Love the projector, also great mood lighting
The lower (height) you set this item on, the more coverage area you can illuminate on the wall/ceiling. Trouble is (if it is set on/at a low height) that when you walk near it, it will shine brightly in your eyes. Yes, obviously, don't try to looking into the light, but I'm talking about even peripheral vision it is still bright. So setting it on a night stand can be a problem relative to your bed height. Also, a lamp or anything you set this device near obviously blocks its ability to project its light. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this product. I love it. The key is you will have to spend some time where best to place this item to maximize its projection onto any wall/ceiling surface area. We ended up placing this on a taller dresser and then a small book under one side to cause a bit of a tilt to get it to project across more of the ceiling.

Best other projectors I checked out. Only floor is that it does not have a rotatable design.
Good projector. I checked out several of these. And I chose this one because, while all the projectors northern lights projection were good and pretty much the same. This projector had the best star pattern. The other project's star patterns were in a grid like pattern and of uniform intensity making it look less real. This projector projects stars in a random pattern of very intensity and looks much nicer. The downside to this project compared to others is that it is bowl like projector that you can rotate to where you want it to project, You have to tilt the entire device to aim it where you want it .if it had this rotatable design, I would've given it five stars.

Great projector, helpful with anxiety, great customer service
I gave this projector to my daughter for Christmas and she loved it! She deals with severe anxiety, is on the autism spectrum, and deals with other mental health problems, and the northern lights feature is very calming for her. In fact, it has become a major part of our "grounding" routine when she has a panic attack/autistic meltdown at home. She also uses it at night to help her fall asleep (or when she wakes up during the night to help her relax to fall back asleep). We haven't used the bluetooth feature yet because she doesn't have any devices that do bluetooth (but I think it would be great to use for her music if we do get a device she can use it with), but we love the light feature and the sounds it has programmed in.You can use basic functions using the buttons on the device itself, but with the remote that comes with it, you can adjust more things to your preference. With the lights, you can adjust the intensity (which is super helpful for us because she can turn it dim at night and brighter when she needs it for calming during the day). You can also adjust what colors-any combination of the red, green, white, and blue lights. The "stars" are just a pattern of green dots (which we don't particularly like, but some people might. We'd like them better if they were white and a random pattern so they looked more like stars), but you can turn the "stars" on or off independent of the other lights or sounds, etc. (basically, with the remote, you can do any combination of northern lights-including color combinations and intensity, "stars", and sounds). With the sounds, there's a basic lullaby or a choice of various nature-type sounds and you can adjust the volume of those. You can also set a timer of 1 hour or 2 hours so it will turn off on it's own if you want.I feel like the remote is pretty easy to use and fairly intuitive. I'm not much of a technology person at all, but even with all of the options, I can use the remote just fine to do what I want it to do.We did have a problem, after about 5 months or so, that the power cable became finicky and stopped working properly, and then when we started using another USB power cable we had around the house, the projector started turning off and on by itself. At that point, we just emailed the company directly (the customer service email in the manual that came with it) and they immediately sent us a new one without causing stress or headache for us. The new one has worked perfectly fine for us so far, and it was such a relief to not have added stress because of the issue, especially since my daughter had become so dependent on this light for part of her sleep routine and calming routine when she needed it.I would highly recommend the projector, as well as the company that made it. In fact, I might buy more for my other kids as well (or just for fun for our family).

Highly Recommend
This is the best night light projector I’ve ever bought. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I had an issue with the remote, but they replaced it without any hassle. Excellent product and outstanding customer service.

Beautiful
Great lighting! My teen loves the effect in her room. Great service too. We lost the remote, contacted customer service and they sent us an entire new unit for free! Thank you for you generosity!

Not bad
You have to prop it on something to get it to project on the entire wall. it would be better if the bulb was able to rotate. it does give off a nice ambiance once you find a good spot to set it up.

Great little product!
Such a fun product. Seems well made. Intuitive to use and puts out a nice ambience. Wish the projection covered a larger area but if it's positioned near a wall, you get a nice array of light up the wall and onto the ceiling. Took a few minutes to figure out how to turn the stars off to just have the aurora borealis effect but once that was done, the settings are retained.
