STX Lacrosse Valor Goalie Shin Guards, Pair

My son found these guards to be very effective as a 7th grade LaCrosse Goalie !! He is tall and stout and the adjustments fit very well & will comfort. The wore well thoughout his season and rready for next years use too.

My daughter is a D2 college goalie and won't take the field without them. This is her second pair. She says they fit her perfectly, are light enough to run in and strong enough to take the hit. She has made many saves with these, either on kick out or direct blocks, they have not shattered, buckled or broken. We ordered the second pair because she lost a strap and they are beginning to look beat up, but that is after two varsity seasons and one collegiate season. She says you will still feel a hard shot, but much of the sting is taken out of it. She is remarkably mobile in these, does not affect her running much. I asked her about the 'pads vs. no pads' controversy - she thinks goalies that don't wear them are insane. She is much more confident and will not hesitate to step in front of a shot with these on. The attached photo shows the product in action. (Yep - that was a save.)The ankle protection is good, but there is nothing for the top of the foot. Quite frankly we have not found anything that works well there. This a good product that is well made and built to take a beating for years.

I am in love with these lightweight yet durable shin guards. I pitch in competitive slow pitch softball and have always worn shin guards. These are extremely easy to put on and take off quickly. They conform to my leg so well, the velcro straps aren't really needed. They wrap around the back and can almost close around my calf for near full protection. Super happy with the design and how comfortable they are

Best light pads available won't stop the hurt of a hard shot but great for young goalie or to cut down the hurt.

My daughter was using a more bulkie style shin guard until I got her these. She likes them, they are like and breath better than the ones she has. She plays highschool and club and has taken some pretty good shots off these with little to no issue. Most tournaments mandate that womans lax goalies wear a shin guard and these seem to work fine. My daughter is 5'5 120lbs and the s/m size is perfect.
