Works right away!
I just got this dehumidifier yesterday. It was extremely easy to set up and start (You just ave to plug it in and flip the on switch). My new apartment, especially my bedroom, is extremely damp. My sheets would be damp when I climbed in for bed and the air was very humid. I finally given in to the fact that I needed a dehumidifier. I read a bunch of reviews and decided on this one. The reviews said it was easy to use, quiet, and worked. And those reviews were right!Did it work: After about 18 hours the water level in the basin was pretty high (see image) and the room felt much less damp. My room size is 10' x 16' x 8' ceilings. I have a ceiling fan in the room, 2 metal frame windows from the 60's, concrete block construction, and I left the bedroom door open for most of the day. I live in south Florida and it happened to be a rainy day and night. All-in-all I'm very pleased at the results of this small dehumidifier.Pros: Super easy to use, easy to empty, auto-shutoff when full, auto-shutoff when water basin is removed, small, quiet (sounds like a small fan), works.Cons: The "on" light is green and reflects on the ceiling at night (I'm going to put a piece of electrical tape on it to cover), it was making a clacking noise off and on last night, I'm not sure if it was because it wasn't on a level surface, but it wasn't a terrible noise. Going to try it on the ground tonight and I will let you know how it works.

Product WILL Die, ZERO Support
When I purchased this product in July of last year, I was looking for a small-ish quiet dehumidifier for a room in an apartment I was moving to. The main use for it would be to take moisture out of a walk-in closet and occasionally a ~140 square feet room. I had scoured the reviews, and landed on the 2200 cubic foot model of the Pro Breeze. When I first got it, the unit seemed to work okay. It was definitely not anything near quiet like the manufacturer (and exclusive Amazon.com storefront seller) claims to be. In fact, it's louder than my larger air purifier by quite a lot. However, I did not mind at the time, as I would only leave it on for part of the time.Cut to now, April. The weather is warming up for the summer, and I'm trying to get the unit running again. The machine turns on, but doesn't take a single drop of water out of the environment. Not a single drop in the collection bin after hours of use. So I figured, since it was still well within warranty, I might as well get the unit replaced.I send an email to their customer support. Most of them would give you a general troubleshoot before admitting their unit might be faulty and offer to replace. But no, not Pro Breeze. They've been giving me the run around, continually claiming that:1.) my dehumidifier to be a smaller unit that the one I purchased2.) The unit wouldn't work in a room that was smaller than their room limitations (which was untrue, as it worked prior)3.) The unit would not work at humidity above OR below exactly 60% (which is absurd, that's not how humidifiers work at all)They refuse to honor a warranty that's well within its range, claiming that their product (and I quote) "needs to be used in an environment within its ideal range". Now, we know that's all untrue because it's worked previously. They won't accept that their units have terrible issues that cause them to fail within a year of purchase. Their recourse? They can recommend another unit for me to buy.So here's my overall review: It oversells and under-delivers when it does work, but this thing will eventually fail on you. And if it does during the warranty period, expect zero support from their warranty department. The warranty simply does not exist. Unless you like terrible odds or skydiving without a backup parachute, I would recommend buyers look for another brand altogether.

Great little dehumidifier
I grappled with buying this little dehumidifier and considered buying a bigger one, but I'm glad I didn't. I live in SW Missouri, in public housing and even in the winter, it can get quite damp in my efficiency apartment. I'd say between 15 to 20 days out of the month I've had it, I've poured out at least 1/2 cup of water. I know that doesn't sound like much; however, I run it only at night while I sleep and it has improved the humidity in the room immensely. Here's what I like about it:1. It's quieter than my tabletop and pedestal fans.2. It's super cute and if you look at it from the top, it looks like it's smiling at you.3. It's inexpensive and it works. My only issue with it is there isn't any way to take the top off the water tank to clean it. The best I can do is run some hot water in it, add a bit of soap, swish, and rinse. Here's some advice on how to get the most out of it:1. Don't run it constantly, run it when you need it the most. I run mine at night since the humidity really bothers me when I'm trying to sleep, then I turn it off and empty the tank in the morning.2. Don't place it in an area that attracts a lot of dust and hair. Doing this will greatly decrease its efficiency. I place mine on the floor because I vacuum at least once a week, usually twice a week. I dust it every week and use an air can on it every two weeks.3. It seems to work best when the temperature is at least 68 F.4. It's not meant for large rooms. If you're planning on buying it for a room that's bigger than 250 sq ft, you will be disappointed so just buy something bigger. It works well enough for me and I'm totally not disappointed by it. It's inexpensive for the quality you get and it has improved the humidity in my efficiency apartment enough that I can sleep comfortably at night.
