We just received the first of two of these cubes ordered (we ordered Earth and Ocean), and my initial reaction to it was that it’s just a super fun puzzle toy! As a 27 year old adult the cube was SUPER fun to tinker around with and the visuals add a layer of fun as they’re so beautiful! My 4 year old and 2 year old can maneuver it, and have loved sitting in the floor messing with it! They can’t necessarily get it back into its cube form (even I have a hard time figuring that out) but that’s the fun of it! I can definitely see getting lost messing with it on a rainy day. All in all we’re excited to receive the second one tomorrow in the mail! Another review said it felt like it was made of some sort of tough cardboard, I feel like it’s a bit sturdier than that. I was worried my toddlers would be able to crush it, but they most definitely cannot. I recommend for all ages! Super fun!

I bought this for entertaining my granddaughter and now I'm the one playing around with it. Fascinating and fun.

This looked super cool in the video but it's so much better in real life. It has a huge variety of shapes you can make and the quality is top-notch (even several months later). They can even fit together in interesting ways when you have multiple. Highly recommend even though it's a bit on the expensive side.

I bought this for my 12 year old nephew as something fun he can play with on the bus, while waiting waiting somewhere, etc. I was surprised by how much he liked it. This young man has every imaginable electronic toy/game/piece/item possible, and he spent a solid 45 minutes playing with this after opening it at our family Christmas.He had no idea who the grateful dead was, and I must admit, I didn't realize it had a grateful dead theme when I purchased it. He loved the 'cool bears' and thought it looked awesome and was super surprised when I told him there was a band in the late 70's called 'Grateful Dead'. We pulled up 'Touch of Grey' and had a fun conversation. A nice bonding moment for us (although I've never been a true GD fan, it was fun to show him a video that was closer to my time).Great gift. I think many teenagers would like to have this to play with, especially if they spend a lot of time 'waiting' on buses, sporting events, sibling events, etc. and their parents don't let them bring the expensive stuff with them.
