Bounty of Good Information on Health and Well-being
This book offers ways to rejuvenate you to make you feel younger. That’s a bold promise that made the skeptic in me wonder if it was another of those self-help titles that offers something big in a teacup that turns out upon close examination to be common knowledge. I’m happy to say that this one delivers the goods in a sizable package of wisdom based on the author’s research concerning aging, food choice, psychology and physiology, midlife health disorders, genetic analysis, functional medicine, naturopathic principles, and Ayurvedic medicine. It is not the usual hodgepodge of bromides based on hearsay and personal opinion. The author writes well and clearly, in a friendly voice, as your guide through the material. Though some of it is technical, she makes it easy to understand. She did her homework and the book shows the results. Moreover, she’s tried what she’s talking about and shares her personal story, as well as offering readers a personal guide to improving their well-being. I don’t know if this will add years to your personal odometer, but if you follow its tenets, you’ll be healthier, feel better, and live longer. The subjects covered, in brief, are the challenges of midlife well-being, losing weight (a realistic approach involving good habits, managing the environment and cravings, and understanding digestion), stress (sources, management, midlife crisis, and challenges to females), long-term eating behaviors, beauty in midlife (foods, anti-wrinkling strategies, and skin, face, and eye care), toxins and aging, and exercise. The book also includes a collection of healthy recipes. This is bounty of good information, nicely put together in a convenient package. Highly recommended.

was a chapter that described different artificial anti-aging treatments like Botox and Juvederm
I'm very sorry I bought this book. It is all about the Keto diet. I'm not a huge fan of this type of eating, but I've heard what it's about. The book didn't even expand on my knowledge on the topic. It was that superficial. Generally, the author doesn't say anything new that you haven't heard or read all over internet. What put me off the most, however, was a chapter that described different artificial anti-aging treatments like Botox and Juvederm. I guess that's the author's idea of looking 10 years younger: lose weight on an unhealthy diet and do some Botox...

Excellent Information! The book starts off with an inspirational story from the author where she shares her own health struggles and how she managed to overcome them with the power of natural medicine and holistic nutrition. You immediately begin to feel secure and confident knowing that Beran is certified and experienced in multiple holistic health disciplines and knows how to combine them into a simple system you can use to create more health and energy. Then, you get a very practical and doable step-by-step plan that seems easy to follow even on a busy schedule. Recipes are nice and it's a very unique mix of diets such as paleo, vegan and keto. This beautiful book, on the other hand
The anti-aging industry is worth an enormous amount of dollars in annual turnover but very few of the products that are advertised manage to fulfill their promise. That's mainly because the industry focuses on our appearance, and not on the actual process of aging. So in many ways, the cosmetics industry is offering little more than a very expensive illusion. This beautiful book, on the other hand, approaches the challenge from a much more authentic understanding of the true nature of aging and offers practical advice on how to slow down the process and regain a more natural and enduring state of youthfulness. The methods work just as well for men as for women

Bad copy of the real paperback
Unfortunately the whole book was pictures of the original book written! What this means is the entire text was re-printed and condensed to less than half the page. The text is so small one can barely read it. Very disappointing!

Print is way too small!
I was so excited to revive this book but you can barely read it! Print is way too small. For $28 I would expect this to be normal print size. I can’t even read it. :(

I enjoyed reading this and it is very helpful, focusing on what every woman once when we hit a certain age. A well-written book with a lovely style of writing that breaks down details in an easy to understand way. Enjoyable, helpful and so worth the money!

Don’t buy unless you want to waste money.
The font is too small. There are barely any recipes. It is overpriced and useless and I am upset that I bought it.
