Hyekit Keycaps 171 Keys Blue Samurai Custom Keycaps Doubleshot ABS Keycap Set Cherry Profile for Cherry Gateron MX Switches Mechanical Keyboard US and UK Layouts(2.25u, 2.75u, 3u, 6.25u, 7u Spaceba)

I've been on a hunt for GMK keycap clones, particularly the gmk Redsuns Blue Samurai. I've purchased sets from many different manufacturers including mintcaps, sumgsn, and others. I originally bought these sets from HyeKit and returned it but after trying out the clones from the other set, I realized these were actually the closest to the authentic caps.A few issues the other caps had were1. They were smooth to the touch. The authentic caps have some rough texture to them even though they are overall smooth. The other caps were just smooth all around.2. The color. The gold and blue on the other caps were way too dark. The authentic caps have more of a brighter medium dark blue but the other caps were just dark all around.3. print legends/ its a minor nitpick but some of the legend printing on others had some splotches or light inconsistencies especially on the letter "g" for pgup and pgdn etc.Overall these keycaps from HyeKit are the closest to the authentic you can get. The color is STILL a bit on the darker side as the authentics have a brighter hue/tone to the blues but that is something I am willing to omit. These keycaps have the rough texture, the doubleshot ABS/thickness down, and the colors are the closest imo.

Extremely happy with these keycaps on my TH80. Much better feeling for me than the XDA keycaps that came with the keyboard. Very easy to install and was easily able to substitute other colors such as the space key.I would not hesitate to get another set from Hyekit.

I wasn’t expecting much from these clones, but very pleasantly surprised to find they are much better then what I was anticipating. The legends are nice and sharp, no warpage on the space bar. Definitely recommend these if you’re not crazy about spending 150+ on the gmks.

PROS:- nice rough textured finish on top- the blue is just as nice as the photos- packaging was great, no unsecured keycaps moving loosely- legends on the alphas are crisp and have nice contastCONS:- much lower profile than expected, this was not very apparent in item description, 2/3 the height of my stock Keychron Q1 keys- gold is more of a tan and looks washed out- Not as thick as was expecting, sound produced is more clacky/poppy than thocky- The modifier text looks bad and wonky, ex: the e on the Backspace key is buigger than the rest of the letters.
