1) Item is heavy 2) It appears color coated (black color) 3) Rough Finishing and does not appear like Cast Iron but more like normal iron 4) After first cooking, it has shown rust all over Actually I have see the feedback about rusting before the purchase but I somehow did not take into account considering Indus Valley is a big brand for products on healthy cooking but I am very much disappointed. 5) When the price is heavily collected and people prepare themselves to buy these stuff in the hopes of good health etc., why should the company give bad quality? I don't understand. Company will still make good profits even if they give high quality. 6) Also It is not pre-seasoned as they mentioned in the description. I don't understand why company has to lie unnecessarily when they are already market leaders and their lie will not difficult to hide, people will discover the truth instantly in their first usage

Good in quality but small in size

This is my 4th cast iron purchase from Indus Valley. I was looking for a small tadka pan but not too small though I wouldn't have minded a slightly bigger one. This is perfect for an omelet or for garnishing purpose and for frying a small quantity of food. I read many reviews of food getting stuck to the pan and the pan getting rusted. A little caring for your product goes a long way in making it an useful everyday cookwear in your kitchen that u cannot do without. Caring for cast iron products by seasoning it with oil after washing and drying it prevents it from rusting. From my experience of using cast iron cookwear I never get my food stuck to the pan,maybe in the initial stages food gets stuck but with gradual use the cookwear is more like a non stick pan without compromising on our health.

It's too small for any use. Unless you want to fry one single egg and want a seperate pan for that. Otherwise it's a waste product in kitchen.

Perfect for solids start journey

Worst ever pan … kept in induction for 2 mins .. it literally exploded … used only for two to three days .. very bad experience… never buying or recommending this product .. be safe
