If you know what country you're going to, this is a great converter. These only do one country at a time as opposed to a universal unit but I like this because it is smaller and lightweight. The USB charger does a great job of charging my devices while the plug-in charger works well for my computer or other devices. I now have multiple units like this for other countries and I just grabbed the one I need for the country that I'm going to. I had the universal charger in the past for up to 60 different countries but it was big and bulky and if one part of it broke, everything was broken. That is not the way with this as it is a single charger for the specific country you're going to

I need this adapter for an upcoming international trip to plug my laptop, camera and iPad into. Besides needing one, I bought this adapter for the price and also because it's certified. I'd gone to a couple travel stores and at the airport, seeing different brands of adapters for for twice the price, and just felt like they were marked up to too high. So, I kept looking. Also, having owned several different adapters in the past, I'd had problems with minor shocks / shorts and another was recalled, so getting a certified adapter was really important to me. I didn't want to risk my devices, which would cost me more. This adapter also accepts both two pronged and three pronged plugs, which convenient and also safety feature (if you have a grounded plug). I'll update this after I get back from my trip!

Worked perfectly and just as described during my recent trip to the Puglia region of Italy.

I got the one without a USB port on it. The plug on the back needs to be reoriented 180° to correct a polarity misconfiguration. I plugged my outlet tester into this thing, and it showed a hot/neutral reverse. As unlikely as it probably is, that may explain why another reviewer's phone charger got fried. I'll update with a video once I get ahold of my outlet tester.

World to Italy worked perfectly on a trip to Tuscany for ten days. Was able to charge iPhone everyday as well as iPad. When I charged my portable charger, everything heated up and I unplugged after about thirty minutes. Nothing was fried, but I didn’t want to take a chance by filling charging.As a side note. The world to Switzerland charged did not work. Three adults tried to plug our US cords into the adapter without success. Home from my trip and the window for return had passed. Disappointed.

Living in the electronic world is sometimes daunting. Cameras, cellular phones, computers, E-readers...everything these days need to be charged regardless of your whereabouts. I am so impressed with this adapter! So many ways to charge our various "stuff" we never once ran out of battery power!! I HIGHLY recommend this adapter for anyone traveling to Italy!!

Worked great for our trip to Italy... feels well made. Convenient to hav the USB ports so we could charge two devices at once.

Not one dislike on this item all in one adaptor that does just what itPromises nothing won't work from it no matter where it comes from regardless of voltage or its plug fixtures. Makes buying some item from overseas child's play as as mentioned above it fits all and no worries of blowing up item owing to wrong voltage simply a must have item that's very highly recomended and will last life time excellent purchase

I purchased an item in the states that I wanted to use in the UK and needed a permanent adaptor. These were very well built very robust and I felt safe keeping them plugged in long-term. I bought an extra one which my son is taking on holiday with him and it's nice that you can just go to any country and just have to one adaptor and not have to keep buying different ones . They feel very robust and well built .

I needed a solid adapter for permanent use in my home - to plug in some of my US electronics. The old one was quite loose, and this one is frim for the plug. Feels like a decent quality and it doesn't spark like some of the others do.

i bought this adapter as i had ordered a lamp that was coming from australia and i knew it would come with a non uk plug,this adapter is brilliant it worked with the lamp and i have now received a diffuser that came with a plug with 2 straight prongs on it,not sure if its chinese or american but this adapter works with it as well,great adapter,i will buy another one.

We moved here from Australia and brought items/electricals with us. It was hard to find adaptors that fit our 3 prong electricals. This one fits all our of stuff, and works really well. We use them everyday, great product.

This does not work with type f Spanish plugs. So it's totally useless to me. World to UK? yeah okay...Not.

I bought this because I bought q product from the states to use here in the UK. I really like it cos it fits all types of plugs from around the world, and it's not as bulky as most of the others I've seen. I was impressed, so bought a couple for my parents as well who also needed an adaptor for USA electronic equipment

Came back from America with a present from my friend and realised it was an appliance that was fitted with a 2prong plug. Bought this travel plug so I could use the appliance here in the UK. Also means when my friends and family visit form America they can borrow it and use everything they've bought without needing to get a travel adapter. Pleased with this plug

Great plug used with waffle maker from Switzerland - excellent as not easy to get a plug to convert from Swiss to UK - so many other options with this plug - will b great for any overseas visitors.

There’s no instruction leaflet enclosed. There is another green plastic layer below which prevents me from inserting my Australian plug into the adapter. If you can tell me how to do that, then there’s no need for me to return the adapter.UPDATE: managed to speak to someone in amazon. She was extremely helpful. I had to use some force to insert the plug. All is good! TQ.

Nice little adaptor, bought for using with a snowboard waxing iron that has a european plug. Good fit, nice and stable.

The holes did not fully accept the USA plug pins and I felt it was dangerous to plug it in with the pins not fully engaged.

Was bought for a mate who was looking for these plugs and is very well happy with it just perfect he says very well made and looks good as well.

The first time I tried using this it tripped the switchboard circuit breaker. I used a test meter to check it and found a short circuit between the earth pin and neutral - not good! The product has been returned.

Does exactly as expected. Nicely packaged and feels like a quality product. Plenty of adaption options for anywhere in the world!Ordered with Prime and came promptly the next day, cannot complain.
