Yaktrax Snow Trax S-m

I wear a women's size 8 shoe and the large fit. I can't imagine these wirking for any larger size, including men's. I only use them while shoveling snow off my driveway, so I can't say how durable they are or how ling they'll last. I do need to reposition them from time to time to mske sure they stay on. They give me the traction I need on my sloped driveway to confidently shovelsnow without slipping.

We had an ice storm over the holidays and I’m sure everyone saw the videos of cars sliding down the roads. I had to do my best to check on peoples pets and walking was literally impossible. A friend let me borrow a pair of these and they were amazing. They worked perfect on solid glare ice that covered the streets and sidewalks. I had to buy a pair of my own after this experience.

I’ve walked outdoors year round (Minnesota) for 20 years. Have tried them ALL. These are by far the best. The pattern on the spikes is perfect for stability. Do not buy the ones with the spiral-like grips. You will fall on ice as snow gets caught in the spring-like grip and creates the perfect environment for sliding and falling. Do not buy the ones that had the large rubber coverage on them. While they may look like a better product, they’re impossible to get off and on your shoes/boots and they don’t have enough spikes on them for stability.Funny, when I first started wearing these, I used Velcro to secure them to my boots. Now they come with Velcro! They are making them better now. In the past, the cleats would eventually come out, but the past two years I’ve been able to wear the same pair. Generally I go through a pair a winter. Someone is doing something right.

These are great on ice, snow and slush. They are really hard to get them on the boots, but once they’re on they work well. Start at the front toe part and pull hard towards the back. The added strap across the front is a nice addition. You don’t see that on other brands.

This winter, after slipping several times on the ice, my neighbor loaned a pair of these to me that belonged to his wife. I have two large Greyhounds and maneuvering them in the frozen weather can not only be tricky, but dangerous. I wore his one time and immediately ordered my own pair. They easily fit right over my boots and were amazing. I love them and no longer dread taking the dogs out into the Winter weather. Thank you.
