I recently purchased the DURATECH 3-Piece Drive Ratchet Set, and while I haven't had the chance to use them extensively yet, my initial impressions are positive. Upon a quick hand test, the ratchets appear robust and fully functional. The polished finish gives them an attractive look, although personally, I wouldn't mind them being a tad larger in size. Nevertheless, the standout feature here is the 90-tooth ratchets, which provide a precise and smooth operation. Given the price tag, this set feels like a steal. Having used other Duratech items in the past, I appreciate their reliable performance and affordability compared to other brand names. I'm eagerly anticipating using these ratchets more extensively, and I'll certainly update my review if I encounter any unexpected issues. However, based on my experience with Duratech so far, I'm confident that these ratchets will continue to meet my expectations.

As always, Duratech tools are better than expected.I ordered this to replace a 50+ year old Craftsman that just will not hold a socket anymore. Worn out.The finish is nice and the tool has some heft to it. I t feels good to handle. I expect this will last longer than I will.PROS: nice finish. feels go to handle.CONS: none that I can think of

Excellent product and value for money would definitely buy again

This is a new purchase, so I can't say much about durability. They look and feel quite substantial.Right out of the box, I tried all three ratchets in both directions. All felt a little "gritty" when turning, which is not unusual for new ratchets. Oiling them then spinning by hand with an extension shaft for a few minutes had the 1/2 and 3/8" ratchets running smoothly - very nice - little wobble, positive ratcheting action. I would rate these two ratchets as quite good.Not so much the 1/4" ratchet. The small ratchet has an uneven drag in both directions, that comes and goes as you work it. I plan to chuck it in a drill and spin it slowly for a while in each direction to free it up while flushing with fresh oil. Unfortunately, the ratchet also has significant wobble, due to loose fit of the shaft in the housing. Running it in will not help that problem.Still, it is usable - and not so expensive that I feel disappointed.All three have short handles that limit torque. Because of their fine tooth (90) mechanism, I would definitely not use a cheater pipe for extra torque - I have breaker bars for that. (It is a bad idea to force any ratchet that way, but everyone does it now and then.)

I used this small ratchet within 15 minutes of receiving it. It performed flawlessly! Very smooth action and fit and finish was great. Love that it has 90 teeth instead of the more common 70.

Quality tool. Appears to be well made. I needed a separate 1/4 inch rachet for small projects. This saves me having to use an adapter. Based on the quality and smooth operation with 90 pin clicks I see this as an exceptional value. I would definitely recommend it.
