Q: Does pressing and holding the light/snooze button keep the light on indefinitely? Or does it time out regardless of hold after a short time?

The light does not stay on or "time out". When you press the light/snooze button, the light comes on and it goes out as soon as you release the button. Simple as that. This is a great little clock.

Q: The last clock I got that claimed to be silent developed a gradual loud/rapid ticking. Has this clock stayed silent for those who've had it months?

Have had the clock for about one month. It is quiet, no problem. My only complaint is that it is too small: My vision is not perfect, I cannot read the time without my glasses, especially on waking during twilight. The hands are white, though outlined in black against a white background. Probably not a problem for a younger person.

Q: Is this clock silent or quiet?

The clock is silent unless you put it against your ear. There is no ticking sound. The second hand turns smoothly like a plug in clock. I have never seen this type of movement in a battery clock.

Q: How do you set the alarm for 6 am as opposed to 6 pm?

Since the alarm sounds for nearly 1 hour, for 6 am you have to wait until 7 pm has passed in order to set for 6 am, and vice versa. Thank you for your understanding all this type of analog alarm clock are 12-hour clock without AM/PM. Thank you.

Easy travel clock with loud alarm.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I work for the airlines and the hotels have started removing clocks from the rooms. Since I travel different time zones I prefer to stay on central time. That being said I use my cell phone alarm but I also like seeing a clock by my bed and bringing it into bathroom when I’m getting ready. The alarm is loud which I appreciate and it’s small packs easy.

Small, loud, leightweight.

Love this little thing. Super lightweight but the alarm is loud and so annoying (which is what I need to get out of bed). Has a little light too if needed. So small and lightweight that it's great to pack in a bag for travel. Recommend!
