I bought this to use for my son. He is in third grade and this is a great size for him. This is most likely to small for any adult to use. This is completely leak proof and all the food stays nice. The only problem I have with this product is the lid. It is pretty hard to close. You have to use your strength to close three sides of the container. One of the sides never closes. It's ok because it still doesn't leak even with the one side not being closed. If your child is not old enough to close this on their own I would highly recommend letting their teacher know to close it for them. I definitely recommend this product!

All of my kids have one now. We use them constantly. Perfect portion size for my 6 year old but my older tweens definitely could eat more. They're more of a snack size for them. One of ours doesn't click closed for the spork part but that's ok. The top part for the silverware slides completely out of the groove to allow easy cleaning which is so helpful!

I really like this box for my toddlers snacks when we go out. I can fit squeeze pouches and bars in the longer section, and fill the others with veggie straws, and the like. The seal is secure, no leaks. Sturdy. Only bummer is after the first use, the utensil compartment on the lid stopped clasping shut. Not a huge deal, but I wouldn't be able to use it for utensils.

I have been looking for a bento box for my children (1 and 3) that would grow with them or could be used for family picnics or beach days. I love the number of compartments and the size of compartments as well. I love the big compartment for fruits as we want them to eat more of those. The big compartment also fits a sandwich cut up into 4 pieces well. I use the other compartments for nuts, crackers, meats or cheeses. It’s perfect for liquid items too as they don’t leak into the other compartments. I took these bento boxes with us to a potluck and so many people asked me about them because they find the bento go boxes to be too small. I bought 2 and it’s the perfect size for lunch for the 2 toddlers and even us adults. The quality is also excellent. Very sturdy and reminded me of items made in Japan. I felt the quality only made the value of the bento box greater. Lastly, It’s versatile and the last bento box you’ll need to buy that will last a long time.

It’s great, other than it’s SO difficult to close all 4 clips and it’s not totally leak proof inside the compartments. The dry ingredients will get wet if this is laid sideways with anything liquid like mandarin oranges. Bummer. The other bento box for toddlers is AMAZING, nothing leaks at all and it’s sooooo easy to open and close properly, but the portion sizes are way too small for my 11 year old. I wish they made it the same way but larger.

It is amazing for my young daughter's lunch! She has fun helping pack it and is able to work the clasps well. My only complaint about it is that the top where the spork goes is difficult to open and it doesn't fully open, just enough to get to the utensil. I just leave it popped open so she can get to the fork if needed. Great price too! Look no further, especially if your kiddo is a bit older!

We love this lunch box! The cup sizes are perfect for my sons snacks and chips. It’s very leak proof. We have not had any issues over time. It’s easy to wash and care for. The side snaps are study as other bento boxes have broken over time. Not this one! It’s a great lunch box I definitely recommend it!

Bought this for my 9 year old daughter to use for lunch, because I was tired of hand washing her other bento box. First didn't realize until it arrived, the top is not dishwasher safe. So kind of a loss right off the bat, but moving forward the lid was very difficult to latch. Not the this is a great seal difficult, but more of the "QA should have pitched this one difficult." She couldn't do it, but that proved to be unimportant because not only could she not handle the required force, neither could the pins holding the latches and it broke on the 3rd or fourth latch. Amazon took it back on return. First I learned almost every bento box on Amazon says "Dishwasher Safe" but in small print excludes lid. So yeah you can wash the thick plastic part, but you still have to hand wash the lid so I could have just done both, not really a good deal. Lots of reviews on the lid being difficult to close, it's manufactured poorly not people limp wristing it. Not really sure what to recommend, but this will not solve your bento box needs, happy hunting.
