Update: we have a new Ford ranger which has the engine warning light just come up on the dashboard, fords cannot look at the vechile till April!!! So plugged this in hoping it would give us a better idea what the issue is, done on the updates for it and it still won’t recognise our vechile even when we manually enter the VIN number, we also have a new fiesta and it recognises that no problem but doesn’t seem to have the latest update available for the new Ford ranger which is dissopointing.Some of the update wiz through within 30-40 seconds, others are still trying to update after a few hours and we have really fast internet, shame there isn’t a ethernet connector on the device that I could hard wire the internet to for the 38 updates it needed.Currently looking to buy our son an older used car so this is great to plug in when viewing them to see if there are any hidden issues with the car, easy to operate and provides great piece of mind really pleased with purchase would recommend

Wow... This is one fantastic but of kit. It's effectively a professional OBD2 scanner, built into a compact small tablet sized device with the cable connected to it.I usually use Bluetooth or WiFi OBD2 readers, but this is far superior in terms of the actions that it can perform and better connectivity.After receiving this, my neighbours Mini Countryman was having issues. This easily connected up and, due to the specific Mini software that could be downloaded, I was able to pinpoint the fault within 2 minutes and print out a report for her. You simply pop in the recipient's email once connected to WiFi and the report is sent over.You have a choice of 5 additional service / reset programs to choose from on initiation. Others can be purchased through the Mall button.I'm really impressed with how well this works. You can view live or stored data, regen DPFs, etc. It really is a professional and comprehensive tool.

Have a few small obd2 readers but always wanted an updated more advanced reader, Have been looking for a while for a obd2 scanner that does everything I'll need and not so expensive, After lots of research I liked the look of this scanner and decided to purchase, And I'm glad I did as it's simple to use and does everything it says on description,Very easy to update and use in your vehicle, The screen size isn't to big and has a touch screen which makes it simple to useManaged to search for any hidden codes, Reset a service light for a friend and found the reason he had a engine light on dashGreat product so far!
