I purchased the Waterdrop Upgrade Gravity-Fed King Tank Filter System for a Christmas 2024 present and my family has been blessed with great tasting water. The system itself was easy to assemble, requiring only 30 minutes which included the flushing out of the 4 filters. My family noticed an instant improvement in the taste of our local water, which is highly treated since the water is from a lake that has a lot of activity (skiing, fishing, etc.). Instead of drinking from the faucet, we were purchasing several gallons of water each water due to the taste of our local water. That’s a waste of money and resources (plastic jugs). This Waterdrop system will give us up to 6,000 gallons of clean tasting water before requiring replacement of the carbon filters. A special shout-out to Krystal in the Waterdrop Customer Service Department. I had a very small problem and Krystal solved it quickly. Thanks, Krystal, for the great customer service. Love this item! Works great and wonderful to be able to actually see how low the water is. I have one and bought this one for my son’s Berkey.

Love the way the product looks and works. Easy to put together. Only issue is the residue from sticker on lid won’t come off. UGH!! Yes,I’ve tried all the usual methods any new solutions?

I have the Berkey filter and have now also tried this one. I am satisfied, it is much cheaper and has the same good quality as the original. However, it is important to activate the filters properly (It takes more time than the originals take, even if the water is clear I would keep to the specified rinse time). If your water tastes bad, the filters (black and fluoride) have not been cleaned properly!!!

The water spigot makes knowing when to refill our water canister easier. I love that I can see the water level in the bottom basin.

I have used this for about a month now. I got a water tester to check what is going on in my water. I tested tap water, store bought water and my filtered water. Tap water scored 189 in the red. Bottled water tested 84 in the red. The filtered water a wopping 291 in the red. My tester test for TDS in parts per million (PPM) 200-300 is marginally acceptable. So what does this do for me??? It may take out chlorine but doesn't make the water any safer. Need to find a better filter. My purchase is way pass a return date, so I know I can't send it back.
