Good attempt
Love stories aren't really my cup of tea but as a resident of this city, I was tempted to pick up this book. The cover is beautifully designed and it caught my attention at once. This is a love story between the childhood buddies - Soham and Sayanthika. They fell in love, got married but with the passage of time, they started growing apart. What does fate have in store for them? Read on to find out.I loved the setting of this story. But, I found the theme kinda clichéd and the plot has quite some loopholes. Characterisation needs a bit improvement. The pace is also a little slow. But at places, the turn of events was quite interesting. The language is lucid but the narration is a bit loose.Overall I'll say, this is quite a good attempt at storytelling. Good for contemporary romance lovers..

Howrah Bridge
I absolutely loved this book! I am surprised, because it's a bit different from what I usually read, and lately I haven't found many books that have been to my liking, but this one is probably one of my favorite books ever!I have read so many love stories but this one is really amazing. Howrah Bridge is a book with two cute love stories. At places it has some emotional scenes and one can really imagine everything happening in the book. It's so welcoming, there's an urgency that makes you read it vehemently and a satisfaction like no other. Read it if you feel you're ready. Take your time. Enjoy every word. I feel strongly about the book. I found myself clearing time away so I could read this. Honestly - I'd recommend this book to just about anyone.

Amazing.
I guess most of you have heard the saying that home is not always a place but a person. 90% of people must have heard about this but only 50% truly understands the meaning of it all. The feeling of having a person as a home, the feeling of pure bliss, happiness and love.To be fairly honest, the blurb gives me an impression that the story is quite a cliche and nothing much to hold on to but I was wrong on my judgements. This is why they say "do not judge a book by its cover" because we may never know what we may find in between the book and just how much we are going to love and remember it from time to time. This story is a love story but it is not cliche in any way. I had a great time reading it. I can understand the protagonists and can relate to them on a couple of things. The writing style is something that I do not have any reasons to argue with, and the plot is straightforward and on point.I love the whole story and would totally recommend it because it is a delightful read, beautifully written and loaded with meaning. Also, let us take a moment to appreciate the beauty of Kolkata. I have seen it with my own eyes but the author has penned it down beautifully that the readers can just see the beauty of it resonating through pages that have only words, sentences and paragraphs. This book is outstanding. I do not have any issues with anything and I had a great time reading it. It is the kind of book that I would recommend to my fellow readers.Happy Reading.

A typical saga.
Howrah Bridge talks about the unconditional love of Soham and Sayanthika. Despite the love, fate keeps them apart. Read along the lines to find out if their paths cross again.Reading the book seemed like a tedious task with all the grammatical errors. Tbh, I hoped to see better character developments and a strong narrative.

Cute Romantic Novel
Howrah Bridge: A Tale of Two Hearts By Anup Jetty. The book, Howrah Bridge, is a beautifully written Romantic novel which revolves around Soham and Sayanthika. From the title, it's very clear that the setting of the book is in West Bengal. The title seemed quite mysterious to me. Although it is understood that the book is based in Kolkata but What I wanted to know, was, why the title is What IT is..Reading this book was a great experience for me. I think I'm reading a book based on Kolkata after a long time. The romance is beautifully presented before the readers. There is nothing extraordinary but there is nothing Extra even which gives the book it's beauty. The writing style and narration is perfect. I can see visuals from the Kolkata street in front of my eyes. Superbly Narrated. As the book is based on West Bengal, We get to see the bengali culture and bengali vibes in the book which gave me immense pleasure. The book is full of emotions and feelings. Romance, however is the base of the novel but we can't forget about the emotions it hold. The relation between a husband and a wife is showcased in a cute way. The book also shows the ups and downs of their relationship..Overall, the book is a complete package of emotions, feelings and romance. The book is exciting and engaging. It seemed like a movie. Appreciations to the author for doing a great job in his first attempt. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to the readers who belong from WEST BENGAL.

Beautiful story
Love stories can never grow old and it'll not fail to mesmerise readers.Howrah bridge is a story of a couple, Soham and Sayanthika. They had lots of problems coming between them, so they parted ways. The story is set in Kolkata, no wonder why the book's title is, Howrah bridge. The pace of the story is normal, neither fast nor too slow. The language is simple. Story plot and narration part is done beautifully. One can easily visualise Kolkata in front of their eyes. Being from Kolkata, I can relate to many things, though not accustomed to Bengali cultures but I like them and book narrated it so beautifully.Everything was good but bit of editing is needed as well as book cover should have been better.
