This is an Essential! - I keep this one along with the KJV, because Good News Bible has ALL the Books otherwise removed from rest of the World Bibles. When Martin Luther translated the Jewish Tanakh (O.T) in 1623, he wasn't aware that the Jewish Masoretic scholars between 700 & 1000 AD had already removed about 14 Books from the OT which made up the Jewish Bible in Christ's day! So this Catholic Bible which is since 278 AD contains them all. To confirm what I said, google up the Greek Septuagint and the Samaritan Pentateuch and you will see all those Books that you find in GOOD NEWS Bible. Those 14 Books are amazing and complete the Bible elaborating what otherwise gets left out. For eg. Hebrews 13:2 - There is no backup to explain what Paul means....That's cause the full explanation to this Scripture is in the Book of Tobit which is removed, and that Book explains how an Angel could get involved to help out and you won't even know that he was one!
