Good knife with good steel, CPM 154, for the money
This is a nice old school stye single blade folding pocket knife with a blade made of CPM 154 steel. It is a thin knife that fits well in the pocket. Sharp out of the box and the CPM 154 steel is easy to put a good edge on when you have to resharpen with diamond stones. The blade does not lock open (it stays in place with detents like a standard pocket knife) which is not a problem for me but may be a deal breaker for others. I like the blade shape for general use and field dressing game.

Quality Knife Especially for the Price
This knife has a well centered blade. Every component is exactly lined up. I'm very pleased with the fit and finish especially for this price.

Throwback design with modern appointments.
Slip joints are back! Don't know why. Thought I would try this Kershaw because of a few factors, better blade steel than say 420. Nice Micarta handle, American made and under a hundred bucks, can't beat it at that price.

Great Shape & Great Steel
What a beautiful design; the best materials. Go ahead and compare the steel used with anything else in its class. It's a sleeper.

I liked it but ehh
Don’t get me wrong the knife was good. CPM 154 steel a good steel. Slim good. Ergonomic good. The edge was SUPER sharp. The problem was i didn’t feel like it wasn’t….right? Idk but at the same time it’s kershaw a good brand but idk. Maybe I’ll buy it again but idk.

Love this knife
Kershaw makes amazing knives and this one has been fantastic for the past year. One of my favorites even though it’s not assisted opening.

Surprisingly great!
I initially didn't have high hopes for this knife. Slipjoints with a mid-tier steel are a dime a dozen, and I thought this one was no different, but I bought it when it went on sale for $65 anyways. I'm glad I did. What sets this knife apart is the QC and care that went into making it. Whoever is making these at the factory deserves a huge raise, because they knocked it out of the park. Fit and finish are perfect; the double detents stop the blade in place but aren't difficult to push through. It has a pleasant weight to it but it isn't heavy, either. You wouldn't think of CPM-154 as the type of steel to get scary-sharp, but the factory did it. This blade with its clip point and generous belly slices, slashes, and pierces through anything and does so easily. From tape to superglue to advanced polymers designed for use in outer space, it'll cut through like butter and ask for more.So it's a big thank you to the Kershaw factory workers who really paid attention and took care with these common slipjoint knives. You guys are rockstars.
