LTL Home Products SHL47 Exterior Solid Wood Louvered Window Shutters, 15" x 47", Unfinished Pine

I bought a set of four SH47 Exterior Window Louvered Shutters (15" x 47"), painted them with high quality Benjamin Moore paint, and placed them on my New England home Early this past winter I noticed a louver has fallen off on one the shutter pairs. By the time winter was over nearly half of the louvers had fallen out, or were on the verge of falling ou, as shown in the picture. The louvers on its mating pair stayed in, though you can notice some warping on the lower louvers and it seems those are likely to fall out as well. To be fair, the other three pairs seem to be in decent shape. All fours pairs are in close proximity to each other so were exposed to the same weather conditions.I reached out to Amazon about an exchange but since it was past the warranty period Amazon referred me to the MFG’s warranty form:I filled out the online form and posted pictures but LTL Home Products has ignored the claim form.I am hoping that the other three shutter pairs will continue to hold up but I do have my concerns as there seems to by some quality control issues with assembly process for this shutter.So beware of that quality issue along with their lack of responsiveness with their online warranty system.

We bought these shutters and then double-primed them and painted them with two coats of paint. Within two months, one of them began to warp terribly. It is now ludicrous to look at and we'll have to replace it, and so will have to replace both so that they'll match. Amazon offers no return or exchange after one month, so we will have to look elsewhere for a quality product and a company that stands behind that product for more than 30 days. Shutters that can't stand up to the dry conditions of the San Diego area without warping cannot stand up to much of any outdoor conditions. We are not pleased at all.

We bought these shutters to replace the (I assume) original shutters on our 1947 home. The old shutters were getting dry rot and barely hanging on. With new paint and help from our contractor, they look great and maintain the original feel of the house.

I purchased four of these shutters for my home. The milling is accurate and the parts are very tightly assembled. I held back on a 5 star review because the stock could be a little heavier and one of the slats is a bit bowed (out of four shutters), but overall these shutters are quite good. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could.

Work well as swing doors. Love natural wood.

these shutters are beautiful and ridiculously consistent. i went over them with a 180 grit block just to remove the "hairs" that are left from being sanded, and they took a spray oil primer beautifully. they are excellent products, and I am VERY fussy about wood products. We purchased 8 shutters total, and every one is in great shape. THANK YOU for saving us about $350-400 over any other vendor.

Unable to find these at local stores. Arrived in less than 5 days and the Paint Contractor did a great job painting and installing them. They should last many years.OldDad84

Arrived with all slats loose in the bottom of the box. The frames were not even together. The top of the box was open and the box was twisted.The full refund return was the best part of the transaction.Very disappointed.
