Love them . Black is purfect for all my guitars.

Screws were too narrow and I had to use original buttons screws which were chrome and now do not match. Then last Sunday after playing in church I went to put my guitar back in the case and pulled the front strap button to unlock it and the button flew apart! Spring flew out and I had people crawling on the floor to find parts. I did get all parts back home and had to piece it back together and smash it with a hammer to seat the button back in the housing. Hope it holds together...and looks terrible now with the wrong screw and chipped/scratched button from hammer...

I've used the top strap locks, but as I like good leather straps fitting them on is always a challenge. These are somewhat compatible with Schaller strap locks as the design is similar.

They work well since there's enough length to fit thru my guitar strap and secured with the washer and nut.

I always use Schaller type strap locks, and I always use Walker & Williams straps. I love them,and have them installed on 8 guitars. I was purchasing a new strap for a new guitar, and saw these strap locks. I always struggle getting the Schaller type locks installed on the thick W&W straps, so this seemed like a no-brainer.The locks themselves are of good quality, and comparable to (but not interchangeable with) Schallers, but I found them no easier to install in the W&W straps, and they didn't include the felt washers that usually come with the Schallers, so I wasn't very impressed, but they work fine.

Great idea for a product but the strap clasp doesn’t fit to a Schaller button - they improved upon the Schiller as far as strap thickness goes but failed to get the right diameter to fit a Schaller button...

I found these to work much better for the padded straps. The strap locks that I bought before (same style) were much more difficult to get on the strap. I plan to replace them with these extended strap locks eventually.
