Q: Can this unit be hooked up to an air compressor? What additional parts are needed to accomplish this?

Yes, you can use the air compressor. The only thing required that’s not in the kit is a cupping for your air compressor hose. What ever size cupping you have and what type. And flush solvent of course.

Q: What thread is on the end of the yellow hose? can you buy a longer hose?

Maybe so, but since your using (or should) 100psi to get the best results, would not want to change the yellow line. That's 100 psi coming from the bottle with fluid. I'm sure its rated for this use, changing might not be to your advantage, but if the new line is the same rated, I don't see why not, up to you, but I would think it through. I would not want a chance of that line bursting with a chemical like that at 100psi.
