Just A gimmick, crap guitar not worth buying. I got 3 at very low prices and returned them all, though I could have sold them at a profit, rather than have my. And associated with this junk. Alvarez guitars leave these things in.the dust.P.S. The 5 star review is confirmed to have come from the manufacturer. That alone says volumes, none of it good.

I do not own this guitar yet, but this same model is available at my local music store, (the music den in NJ) and I love this model especially. It is my next guitar to purchase. I own Martins and various other guitars, so I don’t know where that 1 star reviewer is coming from. Maybe it just comes down personal preference.

I don't know where this person is coming from calling Riversong Guitars junk. I own 2 of Riversong Guitars and they sound and play like a dream. I've owned Ovation, Prestige, James Nelgrin and Crafter and without a question, Riversong is the best of the bunch. The neck if fast, the action is great and the sustain is amazing. And no, I am not a factory employee. You can't go wrong if you get a Riversong.

This Quality guitar unlike any other is Canadian built from hand picked woods. it has a construct you will not find on other guitars. A neck post which extends thru the body of the guitar to facilitate the player to adjust their own neck tilt eliminating the need for neck resets.The Top of the guitar is left to resonate more than on a average guitar. Next is the user adjustment for the intonation located at the heel of the neck. lastly the sound reflector mounted on the neck post just below the sound hole enabling the harsh en-harmonics to be reflected back into the guitar and out the side user sound hole. This same hold holds a humidifier for the guitar. sounds of this guitar range from Taxxr to Maxxn like boldness and brilliance with a bit more dynamic timber.
