Great Series, But Where Is The Stephen King Episode?
Family Guy is a great series created by Seth McFarlane - the guy behind American Dad, and looks at the world of the Griffins - Peter, the crazy father who's always up to something silly; Lois, the mother - usually the calm collected one; Meg, always picked on; Brian, the family dog who drinks and is very funny; Chris, the family doofus and finally Stewie - the talking baby, and my favourite character. Peter hangs out with Joe, a macho cop, Quagmire a womaniser, and Cleveland who's really funny and a stereotype of an Afro-American of the 70s.Some of the best episodes include the one where Stewie helps Frank Sinatra Jr turn his fortune around with a club; the one where Peter meets Jesus; the one where Quagmire, Joe and Peter do Jackass style stunts, and the one where Mort ends up transporting himself to 1940's Poland.Even though everyone hates the episode, the one with Surfing Bird is a great episode, especially the parody with Stewie and Brian doing a scene from Office Space. Some people say it's not Seth's best moment, but it's memorable like the chicken fight in series 6 (US not UK) and Brian being ribbed about his book by Stewie ("has it got a beginning, and end and a narrative?"One thing that did disappoint me though is where is the episode where Peter and his friends go on an adventure along a train track to find a dead body? The second half saw Brian as a writer who nearly gets killed by Stewie an obsessed fan (apparently the episode is called Three Kings) - maybe Stephen King didn't allow it? Another episode missing is Peter's Progress. I find this rather awful that they've forgotten these episodes as they were great too.Extras are not bad either, a tour of Family Guy's offices, the Comic Con interview with the cast and crew and deleted scenes. Otherwise the rest isn't that good, and really they could have put all 16 episodes from the series on the DVDs.I am only giving this 4 stars as the other episodes are great, but I am shocked and disappointed that this isn't a COMPLETE series at all, and feel jipped by Fox, who already have mislabelled this series, and now make episodes disappear.Must do better!

Family Guy Series 8
I kow what you're thinking. They release the one DVD boxset per year and with only about four episodes on it.If you can get over how disappointing that is, you're still getting Family Guy, the greatest cartoon of all time.Serving the job the Simpsons did twenty years ago, the cartoons are more for adults although I know kids who love these.Peter's Idiocy,Stewie and Brian's jaunts,Chris & Meg's ukiness and Lois' putting-up-with-it factor all go into one huge melting pot of wacky zanyness!Featuring some of the entire show's best bits, Baby Not on Board which spoofs Home Alone is top. I Dream of Jesus is just brilliant as it is a blatant spoof of "Michael" and Lindsay Lohan's life. the Family Gay: episode features TV's greatest eleven-way gay joke and finally, the long awaited Juice is Loose episode which features the longest build-up joke in Family Guy's history.Buy these just for the full on pirate chase in Long John Peter!Giggity.

As expected
Brand new dvds as expected, language is in English and available subtitles are Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and English for the hearing impaired. They're extended episodes too rude for tv (my personal favourites). There are 3 dvds and 13 episodes. Recommended for Family Guy fans.

Everybody's heard about the bird
"Everybody's heard about the bird" as depicted by the front cover of the box set.Family guy brings you yet again more freakin hillarious shinanigans. The only episode I was a bit disappointed with was "The juice is loose" when they put the Conway Kwitty song in which seemed to drag on for 2 minutes or so.I thought i'd accidently changed channel or something. It was taking the P, same goes with the chicken fights in the other series.
