I got a new 2023 Rubicon JLU 4xe. Unlike my 2018 Sport S that I installed the Sahara running boards on, I kept the stock rock rails. The factory 2.5" lift didn't help any for my kids (4, 6, 9 and 13) or my 5' 1" wife.My painted door sills quickly got scuffed and I knew I needed some door sill protectors. These protectors had good reviews, so I gave them a try. My doors are already off for the summer, so I have no idea if the doors will close over it... We'll see in the fall.The protectors look great and really complete the look, especially with the doors off. My kids can walk all over the sills now and I won't wince that the clear coat is getting damaged.My only gripe, like others, is the quality of the double stick tape. Time will tell how good it is, especially since I'm rolling with no doors on...

Need better tape

I only giving this 4 stars due to the passenger side door sill not seating properly, almost like it wasn’t formed correctly? Before I stuck them on I made sure that where they were applied was the best place for them but only the passenger side didn’t fit perfectly. Other than that I would’ve given this 5 stars.

Seemed to be maker of a quality plastic and fit was good.Installation was easy even though no instructions are included. All parts are mated for there location.Install tip: before peeling the red backer, position the piece in place and slide back and forth to make sure it make contact all along the door sill. Mark that location with a piece of take. It was cold the day I installed so I used a heat gun to warm up the plastic and double sided tape. On the rear you may need to pull the trim around the door frame out a little.
