Strong azalaic acid cream
This is a great cream for rosacea with pustules. It stings at first, but less so as your skin heals. Good for nighttime application, does not play well under makeup.

the only thing that's worked on my adult acne
I never struggled with bad skin until I was 35, and suddenly I had pimples. I work really hard at keeping my skin nice, and spend a lot on good cleansers and moisturizers, but in spite of that, the zits still arrive each month like clockwork. I've tried all the over the counter stuff, all the expensive Clinique and Lancome and Differin acne products. Nothing has worked like this. After reading the ingredients, I fully expected to have a MEGA breakout, but that didn't happen, and I got more or less immediate results. I've been using this twice a day for a month now, and I've not had a pimple in all that time, when I'd been struggling with scarring, nasty blemishes for years. I'm really impressed that such an affordable, simple product controls my cyclical adult acne. Today, a woman in her early 20s complimented me on my skin. She couldn't believe I was about to turn 40. It was a nice feeling! I'm going to recommend this to a couple of friends who struggle with the same problem.

Everyone swears by this, but . . .
I have weird reddish cheeks and forehead skin. Some people (not doctors) have insisted that I have rosacea, while others claim they never noticed how pink I am. Well, either way, I tried this after seeing a bahzillion recommendations on skincare reddits and other forums for folks with rosacea. I don't like it as much as skinoren, and I'm not sure it's had positive effect on my maybe-rosacea, so I give it three stars for now. Didn't make my skin worse, which is a feat in and of itself.

wow!
Guys nothing has cleared my acne better than this stuff right here. I’ve had moderate-severe acne since the age of 15, i’m now 23. The only other things that have ever worked on my skin were doxycycline (stopped taking it because that stuff is bad for you long term) and birth control (stopped using that too because again, unhealthy for you long term).I really wasn’t expecting it to work so well. I was in a place where I would have 4-5 active pimples on my face, with new ones showing up every day, and scars/marks everywhere. Now I will only occasionally get one pimple here or there.Okay fair warning there was a purge at the beginning for like a week. So your skin may look worse for a bit before it looks better.I’ve had this stuff for a long time, but would not use it continuously. So it wouldnt work. But then I started using it every single night (occasionally skipping a night here and there if my skin was too dry). And wow.I cant say it works for everyone but it worked great for me. I almost gave up on retinoids after a terrible year long experience with tretinoin, but nevermind.Yeah!!

Mix with face cream, this is a paste
I read someone else in a review, describe that their tube wasn’t an emollient, but more like a paste, and another replied that if they put it on after moisturizing, it spreads just fine. That was a lie. It really is a paste, and I needed to moisturize with my cerave moisturizing cream, then mix a little more cream with the paste to get it to spread evenly on my face. You still can’t put it on in the morning and try to put sunscreen or make-up over the top of it, though. It WILL clump up underneath (or the paste clumps will become visible). Over all, I’m giving 4 stars because it did work better on my rosacea than anything else so far and it has only a few ingredients. Just have to do what I did to make it work, and only use it at night.

It works but requires patience at first
This formula is not a smooth cream - it does leave little globs on the skin. I have used two tubes so far and they are both like this. After applying the melazepam cream, I just flick the globs away with a tissue. When I first starting using this, it stung a little for a minute, but after a few days the stinging doesn't happen. If you start/stop using it, you can expect the stinging to happen every time you start again. I have rosacea and get small red pimples all over my nose and onto the front of my cheeks. It took about a week for me to see results using melazepam, but after a week I really started to see clearing of my skin. It's important to use a gentle cleasner on your skin and don't use melazepam on broken skin. I found that I also need use a light facial moisturizer on top of this.

Poor info on tube
The cream contains Azelaic Acid, but the label doesn't list the concentration. When contacted, the manufacturer will not say what the concentration is. Seems to work, a bit, but not as well as Finacea.

Excellent for acne, not seeing any changes with melasma
My skin is two-fold, I have issues with acne (usually 1-2 deep, cystic pimples a month) and melasma (sun related on upper lip, as well as my nose and cheeks).I've been looking for a natural skin lightener and read quite a bit about azelaic acid. I also use a vitamin B3 serum and wash my face with koljic acid soap - along with peels, ipl's and red light therapy. Azelaic acid is proven to help with rosacea and acne - and in some cases lightens skin discolorations.I haven't noticed any improvement on my melasma (using for 3 weeks now) but my acne is non existent. That alone will keep me using this product. Couple things to note, it's thick and did cause an itching sensation initially (went away after a week of daily use - 2x a day). It plays well with foundation that isn't heavy (I had to change my foundation to make it work and it was worth it). I apply the cream after my serum and apply my moisturizer over.
