Excellent Watch - My 3rd Garmin Watch - ECG is Great
I have an MK II, a Fenix 6x Pro Solar and wanted to give this a try for two reasons. Smaller profile that would fit under my buttoned cuffs when wearing a business shirt and the ECG.Size is a bit smaller than I'd prefer, but that's ok, it's growing on me. The display is great, the functionality is excellent, the battery life is very nice. The ECG features is very nice.Overall it's a great watch for the price, in my opinion.

Call waiting
This watch has it all. Long battery life, sleep tracking, preprogrammed gps routes. The battery lasts about a week and the charge time is about 30 minutes from dead. The only issue with this so far is that it doesn't allow me to answer a call waiting while hooked up to a second Bluetooth device like my car. Over all I would recommend garmin venu 2 over apple or Samsung watches.

Love the Battery Life
But I got tired of the short battery life on my ApplecWatch…it barely lasting one day. So i got a Garmin Venus 2 plus and decided to sell the Apple. Why? The Garmin battery last 9 days. So with Garmin I can track my sleep. With the Apple, if I track my sleep, i start the next morning with a drained battery.Mile lap times are much easier to track on Garmin. This is an important function for me.The Apple interface is slightly more intuitive, although those itty bitty icons are hard to distinguish one from the other.. Tthe Garmin watch is easier to read menus, and watch band is more comfortable. Both have similar health tracking. The Garmin works with both Android and Iphone. Apple only works with Apple. The sound of the voice is clearer on the Garmin. The Garmins battery life is the big game changer. It is Garmin for me..

Chosen Over Apple
I cross shopped this against the Apple Watch Series 7. I love Apple products and own an earlier generation of Apple Watch that died on me so figured I would go that direction but when I visited the Apple Store their watch just felt uninspiring. After watching/ reading several reviews online and talking to friends I decided that the Garmin was the way to go. The Venu2 Plus has better health tracking/ monitoring and WAY BETRER BATTERY LIFE!! My old Apple Watch would need regular charging but my Venu2’s battery has yet to come close to dying. I throw it on the charger occasionally when I’m in the shower and that adds days of life (granted I don’t always have the face display on). As for functionality it integrates perfectly with my iPhone 11. The only thing that you can’t do on the Venu that you can on the Apple Watch is type a text reply… but honestly, who wants to type on a watch face? (If you are a use of the Android persuasion, I understand this is a feature is available to you). Overall, I am very happy with the watch and it’s functionality. I don’t regret picking it over the Apple Watch Series 7. I would recommend the Venu2 Plus to anyone who is looking for a Smartwatch and/ or to Apple users looking to switch up their watch game.

The battery life is amazing. I love that you can answer the phone with the watch.
The only thing I wish it did was voice to text to answer my text.
