This might be a weird question, but I have a woolen rug that sheds like crazy – does anybody think this brush might work as a rug rake?

Dear Rona, Yes absolutely! This would work to brush all the loose hairs out of a rug. I use it in my sheepskin rug. I give it a brush to fluff it up and it works really well. One thing I would say is that I didn’t find this particular dog/ cat brush very good. The small wires bend and don’t slot back into the brush. You’re much better off purchasing a different wire dog / cat that doesn’t retract. It’s easy to clean out the hairs. I have a super long haired miniature labradoodle and these little metal wired brushes are brilliant. Hope this helps, Ella.
